The Role:
- In this role you will see yourself providing specialist business analyst expertise to support our project teams across the Information and Technology Group focused on delivering digital change projects, initially within Geospatial worksteams.
-You will work closely with the business to elicit, analyse, validate and document business requirements in order to determine solutions that meet business needs. In addition, you will assist with the creation of high quality business cases and other relevant project documentation to support the successful delivery of projects.
- You will be responsible for the business analysis and requirements management throughout the life-cycle of projects
- You will collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to understand and articulate business problems and develop well defined and clearly articulated business cases for approval
- Ensure projects meet the needs of the customer and business and is aligned to the overall corporate strategy
- Lead coach and mentor a small team of analysts within a project stream
- Support the BA Centre of Excellence
- Comply with and contribute to best practice and delivery methodologies and processes to ensure the Centre of Excellence aligns to international standards and expectations

The Company:
Our Client is a leading Government owned utilities company with assets across Western Australia. Their main objective is to provide sustainable management across various services.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Technology, Computer Science, Spatial Sciences or equivalent
- Certification with the International Institute of Business Analysts IIBA or equivalent
- Minimum of 10 year's experience as a Business Analyst
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience in applying the IIBA BABOK principals
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies
- Knowledge of software development life-cycle (SDLC)
- Knowledge of ITIL, IT4IT, TOGAF, COBIT principals
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
- Proven ability to effectively work across multiple projects including leading small teams
