The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Principal - Business & Continuous Improvement to drive business improvement culture across the organisation by delivering projects directly or by training & coaching business professionals in improvement methods to deliver tangible benefits.

Key Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
*Lead the resolution of complex problems with stakeholders to ensure initiatives remain on track, using industry best practice frameworks
*Actively work with stakeholders to promote and embed a culture of improvement and innovation through influencing, coaching and training activities underpinned by the lean deployment strategy
*Actively contribute to identify opportunities for business process improvement across the corporation to reduce cost of operations, increase productivity, increase revenue or improve safety
*Using effective change management techniques to ensure stakeholders impacted by the change have brought into the improvements
*Manage the implementation of specific business process improvement projects and initiatives, including management of project resources, change management, stakeholder engagement, training and facilitation
*Influence people across all levels, including senior managers, to ensure new approaches and solutions are adopted
*Establish mechanisms to track tangible business benefits and to ensure improvements are sustained

Our Client is a leading Government owned utilities company with assets across Western Australia. Their main objective is to provide sustainable management across various services.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
*Degree level qualification in related discipline, with experience working in teams in large scale improvement functions
*A proven track record of driving commercial / material financial outcomes
*Significant knowledge of contemporary Business Improvement methodologies
*Lean Six Sigma Black / Green Belt Accredited with a solid history of leading complex cross-functional initiatives
*Detailed understanding of Kaizen, Theory of Constraints and TQM methods
*Working knowledge of Change Management (ADKAR) and Project Management (Prince2, PMP) methodologies will be advantageous
*Demonstrated ability to deliver effective sustainable change with a large organisation
