The Role:
As Project Manager, the remit for this role is to manage the operational and capital project's engineering assets. You will ensure that operational objectives of stakeholders are delivered on time, to budget, and within technical and quality standards.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Lead operational delivery projects within schedule and budget based on project Management procedures
  • Ensure projects are established with clearly defined scope, business impacts and outcomes
  • Use knowledge of the company's business in the areas of customer service, asset management, asset operations and IS to add value to managing and leading projects.
  • Identify and communicate with key stakeholders for projects, taking a corporate and external customer viewpoint wherever necessary
  • Implement project outcomes, including hand-over to the client
  • Engage and source project resources as required.
  • Measure and report KPI's and project benefits realisation as part of the implementation strategy of the project
  • Manage others working on related projects or sub-projects as part of project teams
  • Manage, coach and mentor team members

Our Client is a leading Government owned utilities company with assets across Western Australia. Their main objective is to provide sustainable management across various services

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

  • Possession of a tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering or technical discipline and/or project management
  • Substantial experience in the application of project management principles to business improvement/change projects
  • Considerable exposure to the delivery of corporate business change projects in a large organisation
  • Leadership, project and team management skills and experience
  • Ability to communicate and effectively influence stakeholders
  • Knowledge and experience in customer service, water and wastewater operations
