Senior Drilling Supervisor

The Role:
POSITION PURPOSE:
The Drilling Supervisor is responsible for:
* Support of drilling programs
* Technically ensuring drilling program is performed as specified (in accordance with good industry practice)
* Ensuring Management of Change process is followed and deviations for the program are escalated


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Activities including, but not limited to:
* Supervision of all drilling, completion and testing operations in accordance with good industry practice
* Works Inspectors (QA/QC)
* Monitor and report non-productive time, investigate and implement improvements to minimise non-productive time and total well drilling/completion times
* Monitor and report non-compliances, investigate and escalate when applicable


Actively support our commitment to occupational health and safety and the environment, including:
* Adopting standard safe work practices and procedures in accordance with safety policies
* Eliminating or reporting workplace hazards, taking part in safety drills and other activities and supporting the work of safety representatives and committees
* Conducting activities in accordance with environmental policies, codes and guidelines

15 days on 12 days off / onshore drilling

Our Client is a leading Government owned utilities company with assets across Western Australia. Their main objective is to provide sustainable management across various services.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
This position would require the applicant to have at least ten (10) years (drilling and completions) experience as a Drilling Supervisor
Preference will be given to those persons experienced in both drilling and completion operations, specifically gravel packing operations
