The Role:
A new contract position has arisen for a Construction & Commissioning Coordinator based in Perth covering the SMP scope.

The role will be based on a rolling 12 month contract working on a major oil & gas project. This position will require adhoc site visits.

Reporting to the Delivery Project engineer/Lead you will provide implementation input throughout all the various project phases, manage your assigned portfolio of projects and contractors to meet key deliverables are completed for RFI and quality/schedule requirements.

Key responsibilities include:
* Develop project construction & commissioning logic block diagram and work breakdown structure
* Develop construction strategy, provide construction input and review of project documentations
* Provide construction input, prepare and coordinate/facilitate engineering/design & constructability reviews as required
* Provide input in scope of services document and review of third party contractors quotations
* Interface with Engineering, QA/QC, Project Services, Contracts, HSE, Risk, HR, Procurement, Materials & Logistic, third party contractors and clients to ensure that all aspects with regards to construction and implementations are addressed to minimized project risk and optimized cost .
* Review and approve contractor scope sheets, work packs & job cards and develop as required.
* Provide input and prepare project estimates for all stages of implementation scope development process as required.
* Establish and maintain effective communication and co-ordination between construction site, implementation contractors and Perth office
* Gather information about the site, client, contractors etc through lessons learnt to ensure that critical issues are identified and incorporated in current and future projects.
* Demonstrate continuous improvement
* Review and update project schedules with planners and ensure correct information are current in the 45 & 120 Days plans and comply with site execution schedule requirement.
* Daily/Weekly implementation update and forecasts

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Onshore and offshore oil and gas plant and production facilities project experience
* Circa 7 years plus experience at supervisory level
* Oil & Gas construction and site supervisory experience
* Previous technical or trade experience in oil and gas construction management.
* Understanding of industrial construction environment and experience in coordinating multi-discipline team projects including contractors
