The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Change Specialist to work closely with the EPCM partner and a multi-functional Operational Readiness (OR) team, to develop and deploy digital solutions for one of their major projects. The role's overarching objective is to support the Project to identify, recommend and support the changes necessary to achieve and sustain a successful digital mining operation.

The focus of these changes may include but not be limited to: workforce and leadership commitment, skills and competencies, business processes, cultural enablers and inhibitors and cross-functional alignment and responsibilities will include:
* Apply a structured methodology to create change strategies and plans for specific innovations or broad-based change outcomes that maximise employee adoption and usage
* Develop and deliver change management and communication strategies which contribute to the successful delivery of the Digitisation program
* Establish change strategies that will drive user adoption, and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organisation to increase benefit realisation, value creation and the achievement of overall results and outcomes
* Develop and implement quality, targeted communication strategies to suit the Project and proactively promote understanding of the factors impacting the Project and the opportunities that they bring
* Integrate change management plans where appropriate to realise efficiencies and minimise change fatigue
* Implement change management mechanisms across the change cycle - either directly or via facilitating/coordinating others
* Assess, develop and make recommendations in relation to change readiness.
* Provide SME input on risks, issues, dependencies and impact to stakeholders.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Proven track record driving business outcomes utilising a people centred approach to Change Management
* Proven experience working with large project teams and wide ranging stakeholders
* Demonstrated experience of change management principles, methodologies and tools
* Proven ability to establish and maintain working relationships with all levels (including senior executives)
* Ability to grasp concepts quickly and gain confidence and support at all levels
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Excellent active listening skills
* Outstanding written communication: skilled at drafting clear, concise and compelling communication material and reports across a range of media
* Strong planning and organisation skills and ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, activities and deliverables
* Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
* Demonstrated skill in designing, developing and executing change management mechanisms such as change readiness and change

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualification in related discipline
* Demonstrated ability to acquire relevant business knowledge and apply to change activities
* Experience with Microsoft Office technologies and applications.
* Experience with Visio software
* Ability to work flexible hours
* This role is suitable for a candidate with 5+ years of relevant work experience
