The Role:
An opportunity has become available for an experienced Shutdown Coordinator to join a leading mining company on an initial 6 month contract. Reporting to the People Logistics Supervisor, this role will be responsible for the day to day coordination and processing of travel and accommodation for personnel.

The ideal candidate will have worked in the Mining industry and come from a Travel/Mobilisation administration background.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Maintain an up-to-date data management and administration filing system, adhering to mobilisation checklist.
* Financial management support, such as with purchase orders raised for NPI requirements.
* Take action to build team effectiveness. Encourage open and effective communication within the team and collaborate with other teams (both internal and external) to achieve business results.
* Liaise with all stakeholders in regards to the management of logistics.
* Identification and communication of critical issues arising from the logistics plan.
* Ensure flight optimisation is achieved where possible.
* Ensure accommodation forecasting is optimised to a high level and managed accordingly.
* Identify and provide input in the continuous improvement of the shutdown process.
* Ensure LRS data is valid, ability to use LRS to manage shutdown personnel in regards to accommodation, flights and labour.
* Have input in forecast for Bus schedule and Crib requirements for shutdown.
* Ensure conformance with the Company Code of Conduct and relevant statutory obligations.
* Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility and sustainable development.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Working knowledge with SAP, SAM's, ERMS & Workflow.
* Ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
* Ability to problem solve and adapt to changes.
* Ability to balance between current/future priorities.
* Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in coordinating vendors.
* Demonstrates high level of proficiency in performing data entries, database management and using Microsoft Office Suite applications.
* Demonstrates high level of attention to detail.
