The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Inspection Engineer to join a leading Oil & Gas operator. Ideally you will have had detailed LNG project Inspection experience, gained working on one or more of the large scale LNG projects here in Australia.


Main responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
*Support development and implementation of asset inspection programs and execution of asset inspection programs, in accordance with company and industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
*Ensure inspection activities are completed in accordance with the Risk Based Inspection (RBI) program
*Support the development of inspection scopes, through to post repair inspection and Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
*Work with maintenance and other inspection team members to optimize inspection processes, assuring inspection work scopes are defined, and inspection activities are being completed to the required standard, in accordance with the agreed schedule.
*Facilitate process for repair scope definition of defects identified by other parties. Assist inspectors to complete inspections, the definition of repair scopes, and completion of post repair inspections.
*Support the process safety valve (PSV) inspection and testing program.
*Ensure review processes for inspection activities, reports and repair scopes are completed in accordance with business unit processes.
*Provision of site based technical support for inspection of fixed equipment.
*Support Facilities Engineering work tracking and management processes such as the FERR, MOC.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Analyse and evaluate impact of project to government regulations and potential environmental hazards
Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability.
Team player and detail oriented.
Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations.
Ability to prepare or present public reports, maps or drawings to plan projects.
Previous experience with computer applications related to engineering field.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
Ideal Experience Level 8-10yrs

Recent LNG Project Experience
