The Role:
Technical Team Leadership

* Providing I&C technical support and executing activities of the integrated commissioning and start-up team.
* Planning, witnessing, verifying site acceptance testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning systems and completion activities.
* Leading craft and vendor supervision to support a wide range of I&C system acceptance testing: instrument calibration and loop checking, logic / alarm / set-points / HMI function testing verifications, complex (closed) loop checks, cause and effects checks, control / SIS valve testing and system integration testing.
* Field I&E inspections, EEHA checks, system completion and mechanical completion walk downs.
* Coordinating I&C system completion activities with the following teams: instrument, electrical, mechanical, process, ICSS and telecoms discipline engineers, PCN security engineers, I&E technicians, vendors, LOTO, SIMOPS, systems completions, PSSR, design engineering, resident engineering, construction, field engineers, turnover, system delivery, preservation team and phase 5 operations and maintenance,
* Supporting the planning and coordination of I&C shutdown activities, for handed over systems.

Technical Information Management

* Applying the management of change process to the I&C Completions activities including raising, following up and tracking to closure Project Technical Requests, (Request for Information, Non-Conformances and Field Changes), design changes, redline 'as-builds' and associated rework and retesting coordination.
* Working with subcontractors, supplier representatives and discipline teams, to ensure proper documentation of testing.
* Applying and ensuring all Project I&C procedures are being utilized and followed by the I&C craft / vendors.
* Preparing CSU electrical / process isolation, switching plans, livening up notices and system energisation documents.
* Updating Project documents and databases; whilst coordinating with the Turnover team and Engineering, regarding changes to Bechtel TEAMWorks, Completions Module, SetRoute tools and SPI INtools database.
* Supporting component information for Instrument Field Material Requisitions via Bechtel Procurement System.
* Work with subcontractors, supplier representatives & other discipline teams to ensure proper documentation of testing
* Supporting Permit to Work, SIMOPS and LOTO activities by preparing and reviewing Work Authorities, Permit to Works, process / electrical Isolations and Temporary hardware / software Modifications.
* Review, verification and submittal of system commissioning documentation to support to Mechanical Acceptance package and handover to Operations.
