The Role:
Our client is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join the Procurement, Logistics and Materials Management Team on a 12 month contract. The role will be responsible for providing oversight and assurance of contractor activities ensuring compliance with Company requirements and Project objectives.

The Logistics Coordinator must have a deep understanding of logistics operations in support of major capital projects as this position will work closely with contractors to develop detailed logistics plans in support of the project. The individual must understand company processes and work with contractors to ensure alignment between operations and delivery of contractor plans. A small component of the role will coordinate delivery of project accountable services, but the majority of the job scope will be working with contractors to ensure delivery of contracted services at the right time, to the right location and to the right specifications.

Key responsibilities may include but not limited to:
*Promoting OE leadership and for reinforcing/promoting safety & loss prevention to staff and contractors
*Ensuring all logistics operations carried out by employees and contractors, are undertaken safely and follow the corporate OE guidelines and Tenants of Operations
*Proactively promote and demonstrate commitment to Incident Injury Free (IIF) operations
*Ensure contractor compliance with all HES policies and procedures
*Review and provide feedback on contractor logistics deliverables
*Provide oversight and assurance of contractor logistical operations
*Development and custodian of all project specific logistics policies, processes and procedures as required
*Engage logistics SME's and coordinate for the delivery of logistics specific support products such as facility and route studies
*Provide logistics input to weekly and monthly project progress reports
*Evaluation and scoring of contractor logistics proposals
*Coordinate Project Logistics Strategy Workshop and resulting report
*Develop Project, Packing, Marking and Shipping Specification

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
*Understanding of Oil and Gas project materials management issues.
*Excellent supply chain systems knowledge, ideally gained from working with an Oil & Gas Operator
*Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders
