The Role:
An exciting opportunity as become available for a Network Analyst to join the Technical Systems Automation team of a leading Oil & Gas operator. This position will work closely with key operational support teams focusing on operational and reliability requirements to ensure safe and optimal running of the industrial control networks, infrastructure and software. As this is a complex and demanding role that has a significant impact on LNG operational reliability and safety, the role requires specialised knowledge of both IT and OT technologies and best practices, which is a unique skill-set.

Part of the Automation team, the Network Analyst works closely with instrumentation, control and electrical system engineers, process control engineers, maintenance specialists and operators, as well as OT infrastructure analysts to troubleshoot, maintain and support existing control systems.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have the skills to assist systems integrators and end users to ensure compliance with company information risk management standards.

The scope includes but is not limited to:

* IT/OT solutions design, project coordination and implementation; including domain authentication services, centralised security event and information management, visualisation, network switch and firewall configuration management
* Advanced technical support and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows server and client operating systems, Microsoft Active Directory, including the management and implementation of Group Policy Objects in an OT environment
* Support and troubleshooting of VMware vSphere and vSAN technologies along with management through VMware vCenter along with associated clustering technologies such as High Availability (HA), Distributed Resource Scheduling (DRS), and Fault Tolerance (FT)
* Cyber security risk assessments, maintaining cyber security program
* Power shell scripting for data gathering and task automation
* Knowledge of integration requirements with OT and Manufacturing Execution Systems
* Participates in Operations and Automation "management of change" and "permit to work" processes and systems

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology or related discipline is preferred
* Extensive experience in an Operational Technology (OT) environment, preferably Oil and Gas
* Ability to manage priorities, or complete multiple projects and tasks, including some requiring occasional field visits
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
