The Role:
We are recruiting for a Network Infrastructure Analyst to join our client's established
Infrastructure & End User Support team with the primary function of determining user requirements and implementing network upgrades.

The ideal candidate will have a continuous improvement mindset in providing solutions and opportunities to further improve the existing Network Infrastructure.

This is a Perth based position with occasional travel requirement to site. The contract is to ideally commence end of June 2018 with an end date for the end of March 2019, based on an 8 hour day.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Support, operate and maintain Network Systems for all operational sites.
  • Ensure reliability and functionality of network and telecommunication services including PCN (Process Control Network)
  • Provide technical expertise with relation to Design, Review and Implementation of solutions for major additions and upgrades
  • Employ a continuous improvement mind-set in identifying opportunities to improve Network and Telecommunication infrastructure and processes.
  • Analyse network traffic data and provide recommendations on performance improvements.
  • Monitor performance of network providers in relation to established service level agreements and business needs.
  • Liaise with ITC Global Security Team regarding security (3rd Party/Internet/PCN) corporate and firewall management.
  • Installation of routers, local firewalls & switches etc.
  • Provide and coordinate training of end users in the use of network and telecommunication equipment.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering with relevant experience within the Oil and Gas/Resources Industry.
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) and Cisco Certified Voice Professional (CCVP) certified.
  • Knowledge of configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software and internet directory services software.
  • Knowledge and experience working in large enterprise networks.
