The Role:
A new opportunity has become available for a QA/QC Coordinator to join our client's team on a rotational roster 14/14, the initial contract will be until end of September 2020 with a possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Determine and deliver the Fixed Equipment resourcing plan
  • Single point of contact for coordination of Fixed Equipment quality issues
  • Educate personnel on Quality Assurance and Quality Control requirements for static equipment specific processes, procedures and tasks
  • Provide input into the Maintenance and Turnaround Team Quality Plans in regards to the requirements for static equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Development and management of fixed equipment maintenance and repair documentation and assist with input into Quality Management database
  • Contribution to the Maintenance Quality Audit Schedule and conducting audits during routine Maintenance work,
  • Turnaround Events and off site Vendor premises.
  • Work Package Documentation review and coordination
  • Responsible for identifying and/or managing quality non-conformances in conjunction with originators and discipline SME's for static equipment maintenance and repair work.
  • Promoting Audits and Non - Conformances as effective improvement tools
  • Thorough understanding of the CMMS, JDE, Ariba, DMS, Work Package tool and reporting processes.
  • Access to IMPACT Turnaround event work packages for review, auditing, and completion of QM documentation via hard copy and QM database.
  • Utilise the Navitrack system as required to ensure compliance of Turnaround readiness
  • Understands and supports the Quality Analyst and Document Controller with external collaboration sites for transmission of turnaround documentation for multiple contractors
  • Engages with numerous Maintenance and Capital contractors, IMPACT core team, engineering groups, and Quality management team to assist with preparation and execution of successful events.
  • Manages changes and additions to quality control documentation in conjunction with the ABU Maintenance Quality and Inspection Team leader.
  • Responsible for effective Document Transmittal of outgoing and incoming communications and Work Package documentation and records.
  • Responsible for managing post event maintenance and repair quality documentation filing and archiving.
  • Works with the IMPACT teams to ensure quality management processes are understood and adhered to during all phases
  • Input into the MODS Implementation project in conjunction with IMT
  • Coordinate and ensure effective development control of Work Package documentation such as Inspection and Test Plans, ITR's and other associated QA documentation
  • Work with event-specific & routine maintenance schedulers to ensure reliable, accurate scheduled activities for use in the global QM database.
  • Work with QM and Inspection teams at all ABU facilities to promote standardization around QM work processes and supporting tools.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

  • A Certificate of Engineering Qualifications (Trade certificate) is the minimum requirement for this position.
  • Previous experience in Quality Control and Quality Assurance roles in the resources sector.
  • A high degree of experience in Piping and Flange Management.
  • A high degree of experience in Static Equipment Maintenance and Repair processes such as machining, pressure testing and Heat Exchanger maintenance.
  • A high degree of experience in PSV and Valve maintenance and repair in ambient and cold service.
  • Familiarity with maintenance and repair of pumps and pump sets and with welding and welded repair processes and techniques.
  • Good understanding of Quality Management principles, Computerised Maintenance Management Systems and a good understanding of data base fundamentals and principles.
