The Role:
Onslow based rotational role - 28:28 - 12 hours per day.
B2B role - looking to fill 2 headcount.

Key Job Responsibilities:

1 10% Operational Excellence (OE) & Incident Free Operations (IFO)
* Assist management in fostering a positive safety culture in all site personnel. Lead by example to reinforce health, environmental and safety requirements in support of OE and IFO.
* Champion Process Safety Management visibility, implementation, and verification. Guide site personnel on the use of the MOC Facilities & Operations (F&O) and Deviation Management processes.
* Support field HES programs that include safety training, compliance reviews, near-miss/incident investigation, emergency and oil spill preparedness and response, safety meetings and process improvement initiatives.

2 70% Wheatstone Downstream Operations Support:
* Support the Onslow FE Lead on front-line engineering support at Onslow on all Process Engineering matters pertaining to the Wheatstone Downstream Facility. In this capacity, operationalise SFO, and IPSO base business processes by ensuring:
o Monitoring of facility performance (in conjunction with Perth Process Engineers) and responding to issues raised by Production and Maintenance,
o Troubleshooting of issues where performance does not meet plan, and
o Identification of improvement and optimization opportunities
* Assist Site FE team on development and implementation of more straightforward solutions and highlight more complex issues in combination with Perth and site Engineering/Operations teams. Assist Perth Process team and Site Designs team on the implementation of Discipline Engineering MOCs or Projects.
* Assist Site FE leadership in prioritizing work and steward the use of accurate Process Safety Information in the Process Engineering space by highlighting gaps to Perth FE team.
* Support Major Maintenance activities on site, including identifying equipment to be added to turnarounds.
* Work closely with Perth Process Engineering Lead to ensure that:
o Consistent processes for Process Monitoring & Optimisation (PMO) are followed
o Appropriate split of personnel utilization (Site, IOC or otherwise) occurs in monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions/improvements.

3 20% Supervision:
* Manage a team or process engineers by:
o Assist them with work guidance and prioritization assistance in consultation with the FE Site Lead, FE Process Engineering Lead, and Production Leadership.
o Mentor and provide them with coaching on technical and behavioural aspects as well as on career progression.
o Develop basis for work for process engineer routine duties, process plant monitoring and optimization, development of process engineering work plans, plant operational plans, and minor design change (MDC) scopes.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

This position requires Chemical Engineering Degree with minimum 20 years experience of process engineering expertise in support of plant operations / design of oil and gas facilities and preferably including LNG facilities.

Developed process engineering orgnaization work plans, process monitoring and optimization, and development and delivery of solutions to both basic operational process engineering issues as well as complex design and start-up issues experienced during early facility operation.

Demonstrated ability to support base business processes for asset optimization. Experience on asset integrity management processes for operations in a plant environment is especially desirable.

Innovative thinker with ability to develop creative development and execution alternatives.
