The Role:
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Site Representative to join their team on a contractual position until mid-2021. Initially Perth based, 9-hour days, this position will move to a site-based rotation Q1 2021. Reporting to the Pipelines Installation Package Lead, the role is to be the Senior Company Representative on the Pipeline Installation Support Vessel, the scope for which comprises survey operations, installation of PLETs and other structures, pipelay support and performance of pipeline pre-commissioning activities.

Key duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Ensure Contractor's engineering and project management is in accordance with Contract, consistent with good industry practice, timely, high-quality and delivers a safe and efficient offshore execution campaign.
  • Effective and active interface management with Owners Team Engineering, Owners Teams responsible for provision of Company Provided Items, Systems Completion Team and Pre-Operations Team.
  • In conjunction with the Execution Readiness Coordinator, completion of execution readiness activities to enable timely and effective vessel mobilisation. Active participation in Contractors HAZID workshops, constructability reviews, pre-fabrication and offshore construction readiness reviews.
  • Willingness to travel overseas periodically as part of Execution Readiness activities.
  • Act as Company Offshore Senior Representative on Contractor vessels during offshore installation and pre-commissioning activities.

OE Responsibilities:

  • Support Project wide safety initiatives including development and implementation of an Incident & Injury free (IIF) culture.
  • Cascade the IIF Vision and Project expectation to Contractors. Exhibit Operational Excellence (OE) leadership behaviours.
  • Responsible for package compliance with Project plans and processes, including: HES, PTW, Quality, Risk Management, Interface, MOC and all relevant Operational Excellence (OE) elements.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

  • Recognised bachelor's degree in relevant engineering discipline
  • Circa 15 years' experience in the installation and pre-commissioning of offshore pipelines, with a preference for both Contractor and Operator roles. Preference for significant experience as a Company Representative
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage Contractor performance
  • Understanding of subsea structures installation and diverless connection systems
  • Knowledge of applicable international industry standards, codes and regulations specifically DNV-OS-F101 (2013) and DNVGL-ST-N001
  • Ability to achieve milestones, work independently and collaboratively, as required

  • TBOSIET and MSIC

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:

  • Preference for experience working on projects on North West Shelf, Australia and for deep water S-lay installation.
