The Role:
We are looking for an experienced SIMOPS Advisor to join a leading Oil & Gas major, working on one of their world class LNG projects here in Western Australia. Working as part of an established team, this role will see you become a key member of the project PTW / SIMOPS Teams, reporting to the ICSU SIMOPS Controller

Core accountabilities will include but not be limited to:
* Assist the SIMOPS Surveillance effort, providing oversight and assurance for all site activities.
* Ensure implementation of Plans, Procedures and documentation.
* Interface with the parties executing work in the assigned area (Construction, Commissioning and Operations) to ensure work that involves SIMOPS is consistently identified, assessed and mitigated to allow safe and efficient execution.
* Provide support to the PTW /SIMOPS team in the deployment and monitoring of PTW / SIMOPS Controls.
* Action PTW / SIMOPS risk mitigations in cooperation with executing parties.
* Carry out regular audits to verify PTW / SIMOPS controls and isolations are in place and effective.
* Participate in system liven up walk downs to verify isolations as required.
* Participate in Red Boundary management and surveillance.
* Communicate with and advise local area teams on PTW / SIMOPS issues.
* Participate in meetings for parties executing work.
* Participate in daily/weekly SIMOPS planning meetings.
* Manage Red Boundary Isolation register and surveillance as required.
* Manage installation of Commissioning / Operations demarcation fencing and signage as required.
* Participate in Commissioning / Operations planning and communications efforts.
* Monitor process and safety system override register for compliance with Operations requirements.

* Support the overall PTW / SIMOPS processes
* Liaise with Construction, Commissioning & Operations Teams
* Participation in (PSSR) pre-start up safety reviews and pre-start walk-downs as required

* Support PTW/SIMOPS Training when required
* Participate in HSE Management System Audits, Loss Prevention Inspections (LPI), System Verification (SV) & assurance programs as required
* Meet department Key Performance Indicators

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Broad technical and HES skills with in-depth working knowledge of SIMOPS / PTW processes during commissioning / operations and construction phases.
* 5+ years broad-based SIMOPS experience including 5 + Years Permit to Work & Isolation Experience
* Must have, one or more, LNG, Complex Hydro/Chemical Processing, Hydrocarbon processing or Complex Hydro Metallurgical processing experience.
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt in a challenging work environment
* Provide high performance both individually and in a team environment
* Technical document writing experience
* Ability to read P&ID, Single Line Diagrams and Process Flow Drawings
* PTW / SIMOPS development exposure
* Construction, Commissioning and Operational SIMOPS / PTW experience
* High level of proficiency with Excel, Word and Power Point
* Proficient with MS Access 2007 and above
* Very good verbal communication skills
* Excellent written communication and report writing skills
