The Role:
Our client is looking for an experienced SIT Testing Engineer to join their team on a 12-month contract. In this role your key duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
Provides "hands-on" site leadership and supervision to the Contractor to ensure that all SIT Testing activities are executed efficiently and to schedule.
Ensures all safety regulations are implemented and complied with at the site by Company's personnel
Support, as required, incident and near-miss root cause analysis and closure of follow-up items
Enforces approved engineering/quality work procedures/plans and ensures adherence to documents, drawings, and specifications.
Reviews and resolves field ambiguities or discrepancies among codes, specification, and IFC drawings interpretation, elevating any significant deviations or changes to the Package Engineers for appropriate review
Works closely with the Package Engineers for technical guidance and support

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
High School diploma. University Degree Preferred
Circa 10 years of subsea experience with five years' experience with the fabrication/testing of subsea structures, including manifolds, PLETS, and other subsea equipment
Can read and interpret construction drawings
Knowledge about procedures of onshore testing in the structural area
Good coordination & interface capabilities
Familiar with oil and gas industry testing practices, safety standards and thoroughly familiar with industry safe work practices
