The Role:
The Subsea Integration Project Engineer will provide support to the Package Delivery Lead in the areas of HES, project management, technical, contract management, project controls, project interface and risk management. In this role a strong background in Subsea Construction and offshore execution is critical. This role will require a candidate who can demonstrate technical and project engineering experience in MCPs in FEED & Execution.

The position will be on a 12 month contract and based in our client's Perth CBD office.

Key Responsibilities:

* Reviews the completion of all technical scopes of work, specifications, drawings and data sheets necessary for the OIC bid packages.
* Reviews the completion of the commercial elements of the OIC bid packages being prepared by the Business Management Team including.
* Assists in project execution planning. Seek out and apply best practices from other projects.
* Participates in VIP workshops, including Value Engineering, Process Simplification, Process Optimisation and Design to Capacity, OIC Planning during FEED.
* Reviews designs and provides input to the Facilities Engineering Team to ensure Transport & Installation activities are optimised.
* Reviews and comments on all deliverables issued from the Subsea Integration FEED contractor including Layouts, Project Specifications, Project Completions Strategy, Execution Plan etc. consistent with selected concept and contract strategy.
* Reviews high level OIC activity durations and cost estimates in conjunction with Project Team.
* Participates in Project Team HAZID 's, Constructability's, and/or any other FEED workshops identified as necessary.
* Provides recommendations to FEED Engineering Team to enhance the design of all equipment for the safe Transport and offshore Installation.
* Promote a positive safety culture by active participation in development, implementation and enforcement of the design of an inherently safe approach to meet our desired normally unmanned goal.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

* Degree Qualified in Engineering
* Extensive experience in Offshore Oil and Gas
* Specific technical background in Subsea & Offshore Construction
* Project engineering experience
* Proficient in Microsoft office tools
* Strong written and verbal communication skills (English), teamwork and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational skills
* Highly pro-active and solution-based thinking
* High attention to detail and self motivating
