The Role:
An opportunity exists for an experienced Drill Site Representative (DSR) to join the Company's operations team primarily in a coaching role; supporting an assurance program for verifying safeguards are in place to prevent serious HES events.

Key responsibilities may include but will not be limited to:
* Conducting V&V Coaching engagements on any one of the Companies offshore or onshore rigs using the protocols that have been developed.
* Provide coaching to field personnel on use of tools and process in place for ensuring safe work.
* Ensure rig site operations are carried out according to Company policies / standards, the approved drilling and completion program with a primary focus on safe, reliable and efficient operations
* Demonstrate visible HES and performance leadership through active participation in behavior-based safety programs, Stop Work Authority, proactive leadership and personal commitment
* Ensure that Drilling Contractor and Business Partner activities at the rig site are conducted per the requirements of the approved Safety Case and Environmental Plan
* Manage the execution of well field operations associated with well construction activities
* Review and provide input to programs and procedures ensuring proper consideration of Health Environment and Safety and operational efficiency have been incorporated

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Extensive oil and gas drilling experience
* Extensive offshore drilling and completions experience on a floating drilling unit.
* Working knowledge and experience of rig based operations and activities and rig Safety Management Systems
* Ability to collect and analyse data.
* Demonstrated skills in well control operations and should be current with Subsea Supervisor Well Control certification
* Demonstrated skills in applying risk analysis in decisions on well operations in conjunction with office-based support
* Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to speak the workforce language, provide constructive feedback
