The Role:
The service holder will be under the management of the URF Package, with a direct hierarchical link to the URF Package Manager and a functional link to Project QC lead Engineer.
For the activities related to ABSHERON project, the service holder reports on operational subjects to the URF Package Manager, and to QA/QC Manager for all aspects related to quality.
The service holder is also accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSSE rules & requirements and for implementing HSSE rules within his area of responsibility. MISSIONS / SERVICE DIMENSIONS
 Be accountable for all activities related to QC inspections of different material for the needs of the ABSHERON URF package, such as Subsea Valves, Flanges and Bends, Umb. SD tubes, Buoyancy modules, Bend Restrictors… for the disciplines related to Non Destructive Examination, Welding, SIT/FAT and various follow-up of different fabrications.
 Ensure, during procurement/fabrication and construction phases, that all QC activities are done properly and that the ITP are fully followed with the necessaries requirements.
 Ensure compliance of Contractors deliverables and documents with COMPANY HSSEQ requirements and specifications, with applicable codes, standards and best engineering practices, and with Project specifications wrt. these disciplines.
 Be the COMPANY contact point on URF Contractor site for all matters related to the QC disciplines and subjects he/she is in charge of.
 Timely and actively liaise with other specialists of the URF team in order to ensure consistency of the works.
 Participate in the follow-up of the URF procurement and construction activities on sites for the disciplines and subjects he/she is in charge of.
 Liase with QC lead and COMPANY Site Representatives for all matters related to QC avtivities.
 Report to the correspondent for engineering, procurement and construction, when occurring problems with regards to the disciplines and subjects he/she is in charge of.
 Report directly to the URF Package Manager and QC lead.
 Assist the closure of technical matters, non conformances and concessions within QC activities.
 Remain accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSSE rules and requirements and for ensuring their implementation within his/her scope of responsibility.
 Assist reporting during all phases and more particularly the close-out report. ACTIVITIES
1. To adopt and demonstrate an exemplary behaviour with regard to Company "Code of Conduct" and H3SE rules and regulations. To implement H3SE rules and requirements within his area of responsibility, and to comply with H3SE training requirements for the position. To ensure that safe working practices are used within the team along all phases of project
2. To assist URF Package Manager throughout URF scope of work from URF EPSC contract award, concerning all QC relatives acions until completion of the work.
3. To ensure that contractual scope of work is duly and timely performed by URF Contractor.
4. To participates to weekly and/or monthly coordination meetings with Contractor, as appropriated.
5. To participate in PIM/PPM (if deemed necessary/relevant).
6. To ensure that working documents (WPS / WPQR / technical documentation / technical queries / deviation requests...) are in line to ensure compliance with Project Specifications and Procedures (when applicable), international norms and standards with the objective to ensure respect of the schedule and to optimise costs without impacting required level of Quality and Safety.
7. To raise consequently necessary comments and highlight (through NCR or CAR) for non respect of above (Item 6)
8. To ensure that all necessary fabrication engineering documents related to GA, welding/NDT, QA/QC supports are in place and signed by all relevant parties for the needs prior starting fabrication & construction activities.
9. Participate as required, to technical meetings with URF Contractor and vendors.
10. To suggest / organise / participate to all necessary inspections ( according to ITP or for special cases)
11. To ensure adequate and timely reporting to URF package manager (progress, concerns) and QC Lead ( QC issues), and, as a general manner, anticipates problems, optimizes, improves, offers solutions with regards to QC matters.
12. To ensure confidentiality of all the documentation produced (whatever its support)
13. To gather, as requested, 'lessons learnt' and provide feedback to the URF Package Manager and QC manager and other TOTAL E&P entities as required. CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
The Absheron field is located offshore Azerbaijan in the Caspian Sea in 500m of water, about 100km south east of Baku, 25km north east of Shah Deniz field and 33km south of Oil Rocks production and processing facilities.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
 Mechanical Engineering degree with knowledge in material, NDT, welding and QC inspection
 NDT specialist (mainly AUT with level 2 minimum and knowledges on LPT, MPI, X-Ray & Manual UT).
 Experienced with URF material (subsea valves, bends, CRA, Umbilicals components...)
Professional Experience (number of years) :
 15-20 years in QC inspection for welding/NDT disciplines, SIT/FAT ... (Experience in "SURF", procurement, inspections and construction)
Others Requirements:
 A good knowledge of COMPANY General Specifications (GS) referential and International codes/standards related to design, fabrication and inspection in material/corrosion/welding/NDT.
 Be skilled in using computer programs for Word processing, database management, spreadsheets and e-mail
