The Role:
This role will involve travel to Barry in Cardiff and also Teesside.

Main Duties:

◦Produce deliverables within process discipline as required and ensure that these conform to the quality required.
◦Co-ordinate and prepare input into deliverables from Process Engineering, including Basis of Design, Scope of Work, Simulations, Data Sheets, Flow Diagrams and Technical Reports.
◦Work with other Disciplines for the greatest benefit of the Project.
◦Maintain suitable records of correspondence and work completed for reference and auditing purposes.
◦Ensure personal competency within Process Engineering.
◦Represent Process Engineering at Project meetings.
◦Attend HAZID Studies and Peer Reviews.
◦Organisation and/or attendance at HAZOP studies including production of reports as required
◦Must be eligible and willing to carry out occasional offshore/onshore trips.

Health and Safety Responsibilities:

◦Knowledge of the main safety-related Codes of Practice. Experience of the application of HAZOP, HAZID and SIL Rating to Process Design. A determination to continually improve safety in all aspects of plant design and operation.
◦Knowledge of best practice engineering methods, experience of their application and ability to independently check work done by others.
◦Ability to plan and monitor the Process Engineering work scopes of the project, including hours required, staff loading and skills allocation to meet project requirements for delivery time and quality.
◦Awareness of Industry Standards and ability to review and apply these with respect to the potential for improvement within the Project.
◦Knowledge of Document Management Systems as they apply to Projects.
