The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced QHSE professional to provide specialist support to the SHARP Projects. This position is responsible for maintaining compliance with legal requirements and ensuring risk management practices are fully implemented during the execute, hook up and commissioning, through to operational readiness. This role is based in Norwich; however, it will require offshore and overseas work throughout the duration of the contract.

Key Tasks:
* Act as a focal point for all matters relating to execute and operational readiness QHSE for the SHARP and provide support to wider operations, as required;
* Develop and own the QSHE SHARP Readiness to Operate process;
* Maintain accurate knowledge of SHARP execution work scopes and work closely with the delivery teams to influence their effective control of safety performance;
* Provide input and support to the Permits, Licenses, Authorisations, Notifications and Consents (PLANC) Register and ensure execution against it;
* Own and facilitate the Total Risk Management (TRM) process for the company's UK SNS Operations;
* Own the COMOPS process for SHARP and ensure timely submissions and approvals;
* Own and support the COMPOPS HAZID/ ENVID process and facilitate where necessary;
* Attend contractor HIRA's and review actions, as appropriate;
* Review Contractor QHSE documentation and provide timely feedback;
* Develop influential relationships with key Contractors to promote alignment with QHSE performance expectations and support safe performance delivery;
* Communicate legal requirements relevant to the SHARP project.
* Manage the QHSE project audit plan and complete audits as required, monitor effective close out of findings;
* Undertake the Client Rep QHSE inductions as necessary;
* Develop and roll out the bridging document for all SHARP related activities;
* Ensure incident and reporting procedures are clearly understood and monitor their application, monitor and support the effective investigation of all ensuring causes are accurately identified and lessons learned/corrective actions are shared and implemented;
* Ensure the incident database MOI is maintained accurately for all SHARP;
* Set project specific QHSE targets (i.e. KPI scores) and assist with the establishment of the practice of continuous improvement through auditing;
* Provide HSE input to vessel assurance processes and carry out QHSE Assurance or QHSE Inspections at Vessel mobilisations / demobilisations, port calls and crew changes as required;
* Act as the coordinator for all project related activities

Safety & Environmentally Critical Courses:
* Incident and Accident Investigation
* Training courses for offshore travel, ie BOSIET and MIST
* NEBOSH Cert in Occupational Health & Safety

Qualifications/Experience/Personal Attributes:
* Significant offshore UK projects HSE experience
* COMOPS, HAZID and HIRA expert.
* Demonstrable experience working in on and offshore HSE regulatory framework applicable
to the oil and gas industry
* Relevant QHSE qualification to degree or post graduate level
* Trained incident investigator
* Trained QHSE auditor

* 15 years in the Oil and Gas Industry
* Professional qualification such as graduate member of IOSH, Energy Institute or Institute of

Risk Management
Ability to:
* Integrate technical information from a number of areas to assess the business implications
of operations and new developments
* Evaluate QHSE risks and impacts as business risks

Direct Reports:
* Decommissioning barge HSEA's
