The Role:
This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to be an integral part of our projects team at Bacton Gas Terminal. The successful individual will assist in the delivery of terminal projects related to major construction, destruct, decommissioning or approved modifications to process systems or structures. You will have responsibility of fabric maintenance of all trades on process and non-process equipment.

The individual will be committed to delivery of all work in accordance with Perenco UK safety standards defined in our Safety, Environmental Management System (SEMS) and strict
adherence to key processes, PeMOC, SIRP, SCM and planning process.

This role operates on a Monday to Friday basis 37.5 hour working week.

Comply with PUK policies and procedures at all times
Liaise and co-operate with Projects Team Leaders (PTL's) and other site personnel to achieve effective project delivery with no injuries to people, damage to equipment and within agreed timescales and budget
Help make worksites ready by using Management of Change (MOC/PeMOC), SIRP and other relevant Perenco policies and procedures to achieve a safe working environment
Conversant with Control of Work (CoW) and act as Performing Authority as necessary
Help devise, produce and implement isolations schemes, isolation procedures, purging and flushing programmes. On work completion conduct line walks and supervise leak testing and Joint Integrity management
Use Guidance on Certification (GOC) system to record and accept safe worksites from, or provide safe worksites to, other groups such as Operations group, at stages defined at Project concept
Review and compilation of project work packs
Contribute to early submission and regular upkeep of Project Gate forms such that project management processes are formally planned, followed and documented
Help manage Project related waste streams safely, environmentally responsibly and cost-effectively by identifying hazardous waste products and containers, sampling and promptly reporting quantity and location to the site Waste Co-ordinator
Accept delegation of PTL role where required and by working days and hours to achieve cover as agreed with Bacton PTL and OOE
Maintain close liaison with Project Team Construction Supervisor, PTLs and OOEs to help prioritise projects tasks in line with Terminal Manager expectations
Attend Projects Team meetings as required to review the day's work, track man-hours and prepare for following day's requirements
Help safely deliver Terminal cost control objectives by contributing to Project Team cost management
Maximise individual and Projects Team support to Operations by planning and delivering prioritised and formally approved Projects team work scopes, supervising and monitoring contractor teams
Use toolbox talk and other feedback processes to generate continuous and on going improvements regarding risk identification and controls, contractor selection and performance

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience in Oil & Gas with a strong knowledge of process operations in the offshore and onshore Industry
Committed to delivery of all work adhering to PUK safety standards
Well organised, challenging, inquisitive and diplomatic in approach to all
