The Role:
This is a great opportunity to become an integral part of our dynamic team. Based in Norwich this position has the responsibility to deliver the system health, operability, integrity management and Regulatory Compliance of Subsea Controls for the clients North Sea subsea installed infrastructure.
The role will oversee the architecture, delivery and installation of new Subsea Production Controls equipment (Topside and subsea equipment, HPUs, TUTUs, umbilicals, subsea distribution equipment and, safety instrumented systems) for SNS Operations and Operations Projects in office, offshore and marine environments as required. This is a Senior position and will assist with and deputising for the Subsea Technical Authority.

This role will be based in the Norwich office Monday to Friday but will require travel offshore as operationally dictated.

Key responsibilities include
 Supporting Subsea Engineers in complex issues, ensuring compliance to applicable standards and cost efficiency.
 Deliver Subsea Controls and Safety Instrumented System Engineering support for operations and minor projects
 Set workscope requirements, dealing with day to day operational queries and managing vendors CTRs
 Facilitate and attend design reviews, HAZOPS and LOPA's
 Subsea Control vendor workscope management and interface point
 Manage and deliver contractor performance (KPI's, objectives, input to performance review meetings)
 Provide input to subsea budgets and plans
 Integrity management of SNS subsea control systems
 Ensure Compliance with Topside and subsea standards
 Execution of maintenance strategies for SNS subsea controls equipment
 Organisation of controls inspection, maintenance techniques and frequencies
 Assess anomalies and excursions and manage response (e.g. Engineering, further monitoring, ORA, shutdown, investigation)
 Present asset monthly health assessments for areas of responsibility within SNS subsea controls equipment
 Hi-light requirements for new technologies and make strategic proposals to address these (including benefits v's cost and payback)
 Management of subsea equipment spares, storage and maintenance
 Point of contact for 3rd parties and management
 Identify potential cost savings and safeguard the business interests

Experience / Qualifications
 Ideally a Chartered Engineer or on a professional development program to become so
 Minimum 5 years' experience within the Oil & Gas Industry
 Ideally degree qualified or a minimum of HND level with +10 years' experience
 Strong operational knowledge of the offshore and onshore gas business
