The Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Clients well P&A team as an offshore Well Services Supervisor. This position will provide supervision of well plug and abandonment activity during one of their platforms hydrocarbon free projects.
Key Responsibilities
 Responsible for providing direct supervision of offshore P&A operations
 Ensure that well intervention activities are undertaken in compliance with company policy and procedures
 Ensure that P&A operations are carried out in accordance with the approved work programme
 Contribute to operational risk assessment during operational planning stages
 Lead on-site risk assessments and tool box talks with all personnel involved in the offshore activities
 Act as performing authority to manage work permits in accordance with the clients P2W system
 Monitor progress against project schedule and provide a daily progress report
 Management of service company personnel
 Verifies that only certified fit for purpose equipment is utilised
Safety
 Provide safety leadership to the offshore well P&A team during P&A operations to ensure that the work scopes are being performed in a safe manner as per programme
 Ensure that the appropriate level of risk assessment is performed for programmed work scopes as required
 Ability to investigate incidents and accidents in a thorough way to ensure that lessons learned are identified, captured and communicated to prevent reoccurrence
Qualifications / Experience
 Minimum five years' experience of well operations in a supervisory position with strong knowledge of slickline / wireline and cementing / pumping operations
 Completion / tubing running experience an advantage
 Current IWCF well intervention pressure control certificate (level 4 / supervisor)
 Current UKOOA offshore survival certificate
 Good computer skills (Microsoft Office)
