The Role:
Job Purpose
*Brownfield Lead Interface and Execution Team in
¬HSE principles and life saving rules.
¬the five pillars of delivery, supported by KPI's in line with COMPANY goals
*To safely and efficiently lead and direct activities of the Brownfield project, in line with organizational and business objectives, targets and plans.
*To drive and accident free environment, maintaining a strong safety culture, compliance with HSE principles and Life Saving Rules
*To lead and mentor Brownfield Project Execution Team members and contribute to the development and implementation of processes, tool and working methods for continuous improvement.
*To deliver Brownfield Project on time under the Qatargas Project Management System, to budget and to the required level of quality.
*Attend workshops, shutdown gates, document reviews, formal risk assessments, deliverables to support project execution.


Job Context & Major Challenge(s)
The Interface & Execution Brownfield Lead position requires the flexibility and ability to travel to the EPC fabrication and load out yards, on and offshore and when required to be based partly at these locations through the project phase through to handover to the asset owners team. Further to support the project team and home office. The context and challenges of the position are summarised as follows:
To execute the I1P1 brownfield work scope inclusive of two major high pressure high value shutdowns in 2020 and 2021 to modify the existing offshore NFB installation in readiness for the future hook-up and tie-ins in 2021-2023, the installation of two new bridges; one between existing PU and PR platforms and the other PU to PRQ1 (new) platform inclusive of power, communication, utilities modifications as necessary.
To ensure readiness of the Contractor, supporting and fulfilling the requirements of Company shutdown preparedness gated process

Key Job Accountabilities

1. To drive visible leadership in team and others of COMPANY Safety, Health and Environmental Policy and respect to individuals
2. To deliver project phase requirements, milestones as defined in schedule in line with COMPANY Management System
3. Development and mentoring of staff, support of IDP requirements
4. Reviewing and input to project scope of work, strategies, execution plan, constructing strategies, etc.
5. Interface coordination with various parties such as Company, Contractor, Sub-Contractors, MWS (Marine warranty service) agencies and Hook-up / Commissioning Teams
6. Support engineering deliverables, resolving engineering and construction issues
7. To review, input to tool-box talks, JSA's and record progress in an auditable manner.
8. Input to engineering, construction and installation methodology, plan and resources for safe installation of scope of work
9. Input to overall Project Schedules, Cost Control and progress monitoring and expediting of third parties and identify 'choke' points (Issues)
10. To review Contractor's progress reports related to all works, highlighting critical problems, drifts and dysfunctions if any to inform the Head of Brownfield Project execution.
11. Participation in finalization of Contracts, scopes and interface related matters (contract boundaries etc)
12. Support Management of Change by issuing required project changes as per Company P&P and support COMPANY KPI's

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Engineering Degree with more than 15 years experience in O&G facility design, construction, project management or operations.
Technical background with Minimum of 15 years experience in construction of O&G
Experience in offshore construction brownfield activities under SIMOPS Conditions.
Knowledgeable in HAZOP, HAZID, Risk Assessment processes and applications.
Managed multi discipline and multi cultural teams.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Proficient in written and spoken English.
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
Versed in offshore installation methodology.
Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with several organisational levels.
Deliver in a schedule driven project / environment.
