Key Job Accountabilities
*Responsible for the review of all technical documentation, including method statements, JSA's, work methods, design drawings as well as regular reporting.
*Interface with Contractor Engineering team as well as NFE Onshore Project Engineering for civil scope of work.
*Interface and liaise with RLIC/ QP regarding engineering issues when required.
*Reviewing of Constructability of areas for ESW preparation in terms of Civil scope of work.
*Provides safety leadership by example to ESW Contractor and actively participates in SHES management program including daily tool-box talk (TBT), task instruction (TI) and awareness campaigns.
*Monitoring and coordinating site activities of the ESW Contractor and its subcontractor(s) in his area of responsibility, in support of the NFE Onshore Project ESW Construction Superintendent.
*Reports on the construction activities, progress, areas of concern and mitigating actions. Participates in construction discipline review meetings.
*Will monitor compliance to RLIC permit to work requirements (CPW) and act as Operating Authority within the system.
*Reviews construction field changes and extra work requests as delegated by the ESW Construction Superintendent.
*Monitors and ensures the correction of non-conformance report items and other issues supporting QA/QC compliance.
*Monitors site material handling, soil movement, soil disposal and warehousing procedures with respect to his area to facilitate construction progress.
Key Result Areas:
*Timely review of technical documentation, ensuring it meets design requirements, including drawings, method statements, JSA's
*Weekly reports as well as interface issues with external parties
*Timely resolution of civil field Engineering issues between Contractor and NFE Onshore Project Engineering
*Safety and timely execution of ESW construction activities, in particular civil scope of work

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge Skills and Experience:
Bachelor degree in Engineering/ Science (Civil) and ten (10+) years' relevant experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
Strong teamwork, facilitation, with the ability to communicate and interact at all levels of the organization.
Ability to work with diverse cultures to obtain world-class performance.
Knowledge of Industry standards, specifications & requirements in particular QG and RLIC.
Middle East region experience preferred, with recent experience (last 5 years) on Qatargas Projects and working in Ras Laffan Industrial City
