The Role:
Working Schedule Work hours per day: 10 hrs/day
Work Days per Week: 6 days/week
Work day per Month: 26 days/month

Contract Term in Months 16 months

*Leads the monitoring and oversight of the Early Site Works (ESW) Contractor's field planning, coordination and execution activities within all offsite areas.
*Appraises the performance of the ESW Contractor in terms of safety, quality, cost and schedule.
*Supervises the assigned NFE Onshore Project's Construction personnel.
*Vets and checks field change proposals by ESW Contractor to manage the NFE Onshore Project's management of change process.
*Prepares and provides routine verbal and written progress reports to the NFE Onshore Project Head of ESW Construction.
*Ensures that the ESW Contractor develops implements and sustains its Safety and Quality program within the site.

Key Job Accountabilities

*NFE Onshore Project ESW Team Construction representative for monitoring and coordinating site activities of the ESW Contractor and its subcontractor(s) in his area of responsibility (off sites).
*Reports on the construction activities, progress, areas of concern and mitigating actions. Leads appropriate weekly construction discipline review meetings.
*Prepares for and participates in weekly construction review meetings.
*Responsible for implementation of execution activities and ensures development, review and approval (as required) of appropriate plans, procedures, and programs for safe and effective execution. This includes authorization of RLIC permits.
*Provides accurate, timely and routine reports to the Head ESW Construction on project planning and execution activities
*Reviews and approves the ESW Contractor's construction sequence plans, work plans, pre-task planning and method statements to ensure comprehensive safety and feasibility in his area of responsibility.
*Ensures ESW Contractor's construction activities is completed in accordance with NFE Onshore Project procedures, regulations, specifications, standards, and permit to work procedures as applicable, including relevant RLIC procedures.
*Reviews and approves construction field changes and extra work requests as delegated by the Head ESW Construction.
*Supervises and manages NFE Onshore Project ESW Team direct report project personnel if applicable.
*Assists NFE Onshore Project Head ESW Construction in executing his responsibilities and acts in his behalf during his absence.
*Monitors and ensures the correction of non-conformance report items and other issues supporting QA/QC compliance.
*Monitors site material handling, soil movement, soil disposal and warehousing procedures with respect to his area to facilitate construction progress.

5.Communications and Working Relationships:
*Interfaces among various Project teams and departments on issues relating to the position. This interface requires effective communication, initiative, flexibility and an ability to induce collaboration.

*Leads by example and demonstrates the highest level of integrity in dealings with all parties.
*Effective team player who collaborates well with others.
*Communicates concisely in written and verbal context; prepares high quality written documents including e-mails.


Essential Skills / Qualifications:

*Bachelor or Associates degree in Engineering or Science and fifteen (15+) years broad experience in all project phases, i.e. engineering, procurement and construction. Will have at least ten (10) years specific involvement in project execution.
*Good technical and supervisory skills.
*Worldwide experience with EPC Contractors, construction sub-contractors and site vendors in particular those EPC Contractors involved in the construction of onshore production facilities.
*Proven Management and leadership skills.
*Strong teamwork, facilitation, with the ability to communicate and interact at all levels of the organization.
*Good written and verbal communication skills.
*Ability to work with diverse cultures to obtain world-class performance.
*Middle East region experience preferred, with recent experience (last 5 years) on Qatargas Projects and working in Ras Laffan Industrial City
