The Role: NFE Onshore Project

Our Client is the largest LNG producing company in the world, with an annual LNG production capacity of 42 million tonnes per annum (MTA), safely and reliably delivering LNG to customers around the globe from world-class facilities in Qatar.

Job Purpose
*The Project Controls Specialist coordinates all aspects of Project Controls including reporting, cost control, progress measurement, schedule development and schedule control. Monitors the Contractor's project controls performance in the area of scheduling, progress monitoring and cost control and provide advice as necessary to make certain the Company's objectives are achieved.
Reporting and Relationships * Reporting to the Head of Project Control.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
*Bachelors of Science in Engineering with relevant experience.
Knowledge and/or Experience
*Thorough and extensive knowledge of:
-Project controls principles, theories, concepts and tools.
-Qatargas and ExxonMobil practices, processes, and expectations with respect to project controls.
*Minimum of twenty (20) years broad experience in the area of project controls, including cost, schedule and progress reporting.
*Minimum ten (10) years experience associated with engineering, procurement and construction for large (> $1BN) Onshore Facilities.
*Minimum five (5) years experience associated with engineering, procurement and construction of large onshore LNG plants.
Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Technical and Business Skills
*Excellent computer skills. Proficient in the use of MS Office 2010 (Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook)
*Expert level in the use of PRIMAVERA (P6) / MS PROJECT planning software
*Expert level knowledge in cost control & monitoring of large EPC projects
*Expert level knowledge in Change Order management for large complex projects
*Moderate knowledge in cost estimation
*Strong written and oral communication skills and good interpersonal skills, ability to work with others and to build consensus among team.
*Strong coordination experience and good team skills.
*Willing to work overseas in a team environment
*Willing to relocate to project construction site
