The Role:
Job Purpose
* The Electrical Engineering Head is responsible for all project activities related to electrical engineering. He will steward electrical engineering activities to ensure quality and timely delivery of electrical engineering scope. Drive the EPC contractor by providing clear guidance and facilitating resolution to issues to complete electrical engineering activities.

* Very large electrical scope, must be a strong communicator and team player, interacts closely with other discipline engineers to complete multi-discipline engineering activities.
Key Job Accountabilities
Job Purpose:
The Electrical Engineer Head is responsible for overseeing the EPC Contractor's activities for the design, integration and testing of the NFE Onshore Project Electrical engineering deliverables in accordance with the Project Specifications and EPC Contract requirements. The position is responsible for the following activities:
1) Stewards all phases of Electrical engineering and ensures that the Safety, Quality, Schedule and Cost objectives of the project are met within his/her area of responsibility
2) Coordinates electrical input to multi-discipline activities to ensure equipment packages with electrical scope designed are designed well and in time.
3) Delivers quality electrical engineering work products in a timely manner to support construction activities and eventually pre-commissioning/commissioning of electrical scopes.

3. Key Result Areas:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Leads NFE Onshore Project Team's successful execution of Electrical requirements throughout project life.
* Drives the EPC Contractor's Electrical deliverables in accordance with the Project Specifications and the Engineering Surveillance Plan.
4. Decision Making Authority and Responsibility:
* Works independently within established procedures, plans and budgets.
5. Knowledge Skills and Experience:
* Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Good technical skills.
* Technical understanding of state-of-the-art Electrical system technology.
* Minimum of twenty (15) years technical experience in discipline with at least ten (10) years demonstrated technical leadership experience in major capital projects.
* Experience with worldwide suppliers of Electrical Systems, Power generation and Distribution systems.
* Experience with contractors, vendors, and implementation sub contractors for Electrical Systems
* Experience in working in Multi Cultural Environment.
* Thorough and extensive knowledge of:
- Electrical engineering principles, theories, and concepts
- Applicable codes, standards, and trade practices
* Thorough knowledge and expert judgment in the selection and application of Electrical hardware.
* Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.
Part B: Person Specification - Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
* Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering.
Knowledge and/or Experience
* Minimum of ten (15) years broad experience in all project phases i.e. engineering, procurement, and construction, with at least five (5) years specific involvement in major Oil and Gas process facilities, preferably LNG design engineering and execution through handover to Owner.
* Requires demonstrated broad Electrical equipment and systems experience (VFD, transformers, switchgear, power management systems and electrical controls) and familiarity with relevant manufacturing processes and relevant industry codes
* Demonstrated project engineering/reporting skills are of important in this position.
* Experience with Contractors, vendors and sub-vendors, in particular those involved in the construction of onshore facilities.
* Minimum 5 years living/working outside home country (expat status).
Technical and Business Skills * Able to quickly assimilate/understand/interpret the details of the Project Commercial and Technical requirements.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
