* Provide Leadership and Accountability for the NFE Onshore Project's interface with Qatargas Operations organizations and Engineering and Projects.
* Promote clear, accurate, timely, and consistent communication with internal organizations with respect to transferring interface information.
* Implements the NFE Onshore Project Interface Management tool to coordinate EPC Contractor activities for effectively managing and organizing physical interfaces.
* Develop and maintain the Project's Interface Management Plan (IMP) for internal interfaces. The position is responsible for managing the interfaces between the EPC Contractor and existing Qatargas operating assets
- Conduct interface management workshops with the Project Owners and Stakeholders to address physical interfaces and management processes.
* Provides a single point of contact for information development and transfer between the Project and the Qatargas internal interfacing organizations.
* Assures interfaces between the Project and the internal interfacing organizations are defined, developed and documented in a timely manner consistent with project needs.
* Schedule meetings, issue minutes of meetings and steward close out of action items with interfacing organizations on a frequent basis, consistent with project needs.
* Lead implementation of the Project's Interface Agreements with QG Opco.
* Maintain the Project's Interface Registers that summarize all Interface Agreements.
* Keep Project team informed with respect to progress in resolving and closing out Interface Agreements.
* Oversee and monitor interface management activities project-wide
* Ensure that the EPC Contractors' Interface Plans are developed, then effectively implemented and monitored.
* Assist in bringing Interface Agreements to Approved and Closed status.
* Assist in conflict resolution regarding Interface Agreements.
* Identify and escalate interface matters that are not being resolved by parties who have Interface Agreements.
* Keep the Interface Manager informed of interface matters that could potentially jeopardize Project Objectives or lead to claims from the EPC Contractors.
* Guide implementation of the NFE Onshore Project's system for storing, editing, managing, and tracking Interface Agreements and Documents.
* Development of personnel including opportunities to train Qatari National Engineers.

* Works in an evolving business environment where expansion opportunities are being identified on a continuous basis adding additional complexity and workload to the existing project environment.
* Works effectively within established procedures or creates and endorses new procedures as necessary to further develop the Qatargas Project Management philosophy.
* Works on large capital expenditure projects in a highly dynamic team environment that has tight-deadlines, high pressure and visibility, requiring accuracy, initiative and the ability to multi-task as essential skills.
Communications and Working Relationships:
* Interfaces with various project teams and departments on resolving related issues that requires effective communication, initiative, flexibility and an ability to induce collaboration.
* Interacts effectively with QG management including statutory auditors, shareholder auditors and other entities to discuss project practices and issues.
* Exhibits team leadership skills, integrity, self-confidence, fairness.
* Interacts with number of people and is responsible for the development and mentoring of the staff.
Problem Solving/Complexity:
* Undertakes complex tasks and acts as a source of guidance for staff and internal customers. Is expected to handle all but the most complex problems and difficulties that might arise.
* Takes initiatives, based on experienced gained, to deliver timely and cost effective service.
* Sets situations/issues in the context of the entire team and has an appreciation of the wider relationships with other people and and has an appreciation of the wider relationships with other people and organizations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
* Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
* Must have 15 years minimum work experience as Interface Engineer or Project Engineer in Oil & Gas Industry preferably LNG.
* Minimum of five (5) years of production and project field experience with demonstrated supervisory skills.
* Effective communication and presentation skills.
* Knowledge for QGPMS elements and implementation or similar Industry accepted Project Management system.
* Good interpersonal skills.
* Experience with government agencies, contractors and vendors, in particular those involved in the construction of onshore facilities.
* Minimum two (2) years Middle East experience
