The Role:
Part A: Job Specification
Job Purpose Information Management Specialist ensures the effective implementation of the Project Information Management System (PIMS) for the NFE Onshore Project EPC2. Initial role is to setup PIMS (EDMS) System in conformance to NFE Onshore Project Document Management Specification. The IM Specialist is responsible for implementation and administration of the EPC2 Information Management Plan, EDMS and document inter-discipline check process.
The IM Specialist is will also coordinate the Company IM surveillance programs and oversee the compilation and completeness of final documentation records (Manufacturers Records Books and Fabrication Records Books) and supporting DFO Dossiers to Technical Documentation Department.
Reporting and Relationships * Reports to Head of Information Management (HIM)
* Position is a full-time, residential position based at the EPC Contractors engineering offices
* Leadership of Information Management Coordinators and DCC personnel at multiple sites
* Positional boundary set by the approved Project Organization Charts
Key Job Accountabilities
* Liaise with PIMS System Administrator to ensure setup of EDMS in conformance to NFE Onshore Project Document Management Specification
* Liaise with IM System and Data Specialist to ensure implementation and compliance of PIMS metadata, Tag Numbering convention and Data-collaboration of SmartPlant Application
* Works in a project environment in which the incumbent strives to achieve best in class Safety, Health, Environmental & Security performance by creating a culture that encourages everyone to perform their best every day on every task
* Works in a highly visible project environment with large capital expenditures and significant schedule execution pressures
* Positional boundary is set by the approved Project Organization Charts
* Works in a dynamic team environment that has high expectations for flawless project execution in safety, quality, cost and schedule performance which requires the incumbent to demonstrate accuracy, initiative and the ability to multi-task
* Requires the ability to effectively communicate quality at project & functional level
* Must exhibit a high degree of computer literacy & coordination skills
* Persuasive management attributes are essential across all levels of the organization with an ability to establish & maintain genuine & responsive relationships
* Effective team player who collaborates well with others
* Demonstrates the highest level of integrity in dealing with all parties
* Communicates concisely in written and verbal context; prepares high quality written documents
* Applies extensive hands-on, industry-based experience & knowledge to promote & establish existing systems, processes & procedures within a structured quality framework
* Manages the implementation of PMT Q&IM solutions in a timely & cost-effective manner that compliments safety, cost & schedule
* Capable of decision-making & demonstrating a high level of judgement & responsibility
* Experience with multi-national contractors & vendors, in particular those involved in the construction of LNG production facilities
* Strong IT and coordination skills, with extensive experience in responsible roles on major oil & gas engineering & construction projects
* Knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems preferably Documentum
* Experience with conducting audits & assessing process-driven quality systems
* Experience in completing and delivering Final Completion Dossier (DFO) to Operations
* Ensures COMPANY Lessons Learned are implemented and verified
Part B: Person Specification - Minimum Requirements
Required Experience / Qualifications
* 15 years' experience associated with Information and Document Management within the Oil & Gas Construction Industry
* Preferred: Bachelor's degree in engineering or Computer Science
Knowledge and Key Skills
* Strong coordination skills, extensive quality experience in responsible roles on major oil & gas engineering & construction projects
* Experience in facilitating & coordinating efforts to resolve interface issues
* Experience with Lessons learned capture and implementation processes
Technical and Business Skills
* A thorough knowledge of documentation management processes, codes and standards relating to Major Capital projects including final document handover.
