The Role:
Job Purpose
*Under the direction of Topside/Pipeline or Jacket Manager, coordinate various engineering scopes of work which are required to progress NFE Offshore Package delivery.


Job Context & Major Challenge(s)
*Provides visible safety leadership through active participation in the NFE Offshore Project Safety Program
*Provides stewardship of the Contractors with respect to project engineering in relation to assigned area.
*Engage across disciplines including Process, Structural, Electrical, E&I, Piping, Mechanical, Pipeline, Umbilical, HSSE and Risk.
*Understand and communicate the requirements of Pre FEED and FEED design.
*Efficiently translate Company requirements and data into an efficient delivery from the Contractor.
*Manage the Contractor in the safe delivery of the scope of work,
*Verify and ensure compliance with Company SHE and Loss Prevention requirements, standards, specifications, instructions and regulatory and environmental requirement.
*Monitor the progress and delivery of the Loss Prevention/Technical Safety engineering work scope.
*Verify that risk assessment plans are suitable and include required risk assessments and risk workshops as per Project phase (FEED, EPCI, Offshore phase) and Company Gates requirement

Key Job Accountabilities

1.Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the company's policies and procedures. Ensuring the welfare of personnel and the protection of assets and the environment at all times.
2.Provide Technical support for the Topside/Pipeline or Jacket Packages.
3.Responsible for coordination and close-out of cross Package Engineering related issues as requested to support each Package delivery where the Packages have limited resources.
4.Report progress of close-out on weekly basis for presentation to management
5.Ensure effective communication and coordination between all packages on cross package issues.
6.Expected to have sufficient technical knowledge and awareness of details to be able to recognize when technical problems are developing in the various disciplines, and to initiate appropriate corrective actions. Seek guidance on areas beyond technical knowledge and manage implantation of solutions.
7.Chair meetings if required to collect and disseminate information pertaining to Loss Prevention engineering actions.
8.Perform other work related duties as requested by the NFE Offshore Management.
9.Advise Management in a timely manner where issues are unable to be resolved and may impact the project delivery.
10.Ensure project deliverables and activities associated with all packages are achieved in accordance with the project milestone dates.
11.Provide guidance and input during detailed design for the Offshore Packages as required.
12.Provide guidance and input into Contractor strategies/procedures to achieve project Integration objectives as required.
13.Participate in Offshore Constructability Reviews, Pre-Start-up Reviews etc. as required.
14.Review and comment of Contractor / Supplier documentation as required in a timely manner.
15.Advise design risk and propose mitigations.
16.Ensure compliance with Company specifications, procedures and standards , and Regulatory and Environmental Requirement.
17.Ensure Risk assessment compliance with Company Standard and risk matrix.
18.Ensure Contractor's Risk Assessment plan compliance and suitability for each Project Execution phase.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Masters degree in Engineering*
20+ years of experience in discipline with at least five years demonstrated senior engineering experience in major capital projects
Experience with Offshore EPC contractors, sub-contractors and vendors involved in the oil and gas industry
Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people in a multi-cultural environment.

Recognized as a team player.
*A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English
*Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications
*Any Qualification, Technical Skill, or Knowledge requirements can be waived through relevant work experience.
