The Role:
Job Purpose
*Field Interface and Execution Team in
¬ HSE principles and life saving rules.
¬ the five pillars of delivery, supported by KPI's in line with COMPANY goals
*To safely and efficiently lead and direct activities of the Brownfield project, in line with organizational and business objectives, targets and plans.
*To drive and accident free environment, maintaining a strong safety culture, compliance with HSE principles and Life Saving Rules
*To contribute to the development and implementation of processes, tool and working methods for continuous improvement.
*To deliver Brownfield Project on time under the Qatargas Project Management System, to budget and to the required level of quality.
*Attend workshops, shutdown gates, document reviews, formal risk assessments, deliverables to support project execution.

Job Context & Major Challenge(s)
The Material Coordinator position requires the flexibility and ability to travel to the EPC fabrication and load out yards, on and offshore and when required to be based partly at these locations throught the project phase through to handover to the asset owners team. Further to support the project team and home office. The context and challenges of the position are summarised as follows:
To execute the I1P1 brownfield work scope inclusive of two major high pressure high value shutdowns in 2020 and 2021 to modify the existing offshore NFB installation in readiness for the future hook-up and tie-ins in 2021-2023, the installation of two new bridges; one between existing PU and PR platforms and the other PU to PRQ1 (new) platform inclusive of power, communication, utilities modifications as necessary.
To ensure readiness of the Contractor, supporting and fulfilling the requirements of Company shutdown preparedness gated process

Key Job Accountabilities
1.To drive visible leadership in team and others of COMPANY Safety, Health and Environmental Policy and respect to individuals
2.To deliver project phase requirements, milestones as defined in schedule in line with COMPANY Management System
3.To be responsible for material management (including tools and Lifting equipment) , the receiving, check, recording and traceability of all material and certificates
4.To issue any supply non-conformities and follow-up the relevant resolution
5.To collect all the documents and certification covering the arrival of materials at site, ensure establishment by Contractor of quarantine system for defective material
6.To coordinate, control, follow their movements and good receipt and provide recording, advise teams when delivering material and re-enforce the coordination for particular delivery.
7.To work closely with contractor to improve all aspects of material, tools and lifting activities
8.To Follow the reception, inspection, storage, marking and preservation of materials delivered at Yard, including lifting equipment
9.To review material management procedures issued by Contractor
10.To ensure Contractors personnel have sufficient training and experience to use safely the material, tools and lifting equipment
11.To manage information relevant to arrival of materials at site in line with project schedule and anticipate any shortage, delay issues for offshore deliveries by taking acts with any actors on the transverse flow (Procurement, Freight Forwarding, Warehouse Receipt team, QC inspector(s), Preparation teams for outbound delivery).
12.To initiate for re-certification, re-calibration, test for specific equipment (pressure gauges, valves) by Third party/Vendor or cable cuttings if need.
13.To coordinate the offshore material returns / surplus materials and Warehouse Material Controller for the dispatch (to storage, to "UNFIT" bins, to Vendors)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

Technician with more than 15 years experience in O&G facility construction, project, operations or Logistic.

Knowledge and/or Experience

Technical background with Minimum of 15 years experience in construction, logistic and material management of O&G
Experience in offshore construction brownfield activities under SIMOPS Conditions.
Good knowledge of international codes / Standards related to material inspection.
Good sense of contact and communication

Technical and Business Skills

Proficient in written and spoken English.
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
Versed in offshore installation methodology.
Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with several organisational levels.
Deliver in a schedule driven project / environment.
