The Role:
* Coordinate, facilitate, monitor and report on the Interface Agreement process with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient application of interface agreement management practices ensuring a standard approach there-by enhancing the flow of information and data across the project delivery teams, functional groups and external contractors.
Reporting and Relationships * Reports to Head of Projects, Interface & Lessons Learned.
* Internal : Maintain regular communication with senior managers E&P, Operations, HSE&Q, IT, Business and Administration, Engineering departments at Lead & Head Level.
* External : Frequent contact with Ras Laffan City (RLC)/Qatar Petroleum (QP), RLC operators and contractors and external companies crossing Qatargas facilities.
Job Context & Major Challenge(s)
* Handle and facilitate the approval of multiple technical Interface agreements with internal & external stakeholders (process an average of 1,000+ Interface agreements per year). The prime intentions for the establishment of interface control is to ensure that the overall integrity of the facilities is maintained and that the interfacing parties fully understand their accountabilities and responsibilities.

* Ensure all activities are undertaken in compliance with Company Health, Safety and Environment and Quality policies, regulations and standards, in addition to legislation. Undertake mandatory Company training.
Qatarization Program * Contribute to the development of Qatari employees. This accountability is a condition of employment for expatriate employees.
Firewall Compliance
* Ensure all activities undertaken comply with anti - trust and competition laws and the Company firewall policies and procedures.
Key Job Accountabilities
1. Manage, monitor and coordinate all external & internal technical interface agreements.
2. Ensure that a comprehensive, multi-functional review of all technical Interface agreement requests, responses, to and from the interface parties, meets requirements and schedule.
3. Prepare information on overall IA process performance and suggest and implement improvements.
4. Ensures that interface agreement process is appropriate, well established and maintained.
5. Assist in providing the projects with all information related to the interface agreement needed by the requesting parties (i.e.: As built drawings…) during FEED or EPC stages.
6. Maintain the technical interface database, and report on the status of the IA actions items, providing progress updates on IA process and communicate these to management as appropriate.
7. Ensure project department/group knowledge of the interface agreement process and their compliance with Company IA procedure.
8. Manage and update the Interface Tracking Database on the On-Plot; Off-Plot and Offshore Interface Activities and ensure that correspondence with internal and external parties in relation to schedule is coordinated and followed-up.
9. Assist with developing guidelines, processes and procedures necessary to support and control the Interface Agreement process and projects.
10. Assist in providing Joint Interest with all information related to the interface agreement needed to develop commercial agreement and A&IA.
11. Plan the interface work based upon the interfaces already identified and assigned to support department objectives.
12. Provide advice on construction interface considerations and potential problems ensuring efficient operations.
13. Ensure all pending issues and IAs are cleared and closed out
14. Support Lesson Learned and resolve issues between different projects /assets and coordinate reporting trend analysis of project / incidents that have relevance to operations.
Part B: Person Specification - Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor of Science in Engineering Degree or Diploma.
Knowledge and/or Experience
* 8 years experience in a major projects environment and/or operations and maintenance of hydrocarbon processing facilities, preferably in the oil and gas industry, including 3 years in a supervisory position.
* Extensive knowledge and understanding of the Interface Agreement Management System & procedures.
Technical and Business Skills * Requires strong analytical, organisational and planning skills.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and demonstrate superior organisation skills.
* Excellent analytical, interpretive and computer skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Independent and able to initiate and recommend solutions encompassing various technical specialties.
* Independent, able to work under minimum supervisory*
