The Role:
Leads the document and correspondence controls activities for the NFE Onshore Project based at the construction site in accordance with the NFE Onshore Information Management Plans and Document Management Procedures. Responsible for operating Project Documentation via project EDMS. Responsible for ensuring that project documentation flows between locations and departments (PMT and EPC Contractor) according to approved plans and procedures during all phases of project execution.

Reporting and Relationships
* Reports to NFE Information Management Coordinator (Site)
* Position is a full-time, residential quality position based at the Early Site Works facility in Ras Laffan Qatar
* Provide Leadership to 5 full time DCC personnel at site

Key Job Accountabilities
* Leads NFE Onshore Project Site DCC Team's successful execution of document control management requirements throughout project life.
* Responsible for Site-based control of technical, correspondence and administrative documents, including transmittals and other forms of official correspondence between PMT and EPC Contractor.
* Demonstrates ability to plan and schedule work (short term and long term) and ensures execution of work plan by sub-ordinates
* Applies requirements of NFE Onshore Information Management Plan to EPC project activities
* Implements systems for correspondence (i.e. Transmittals, Letters, ROCs, MOMs) in collaboration with Information Management Coordinator (IMC)
* Under guidance from the IMC at site, acts as the EPC Departmental Information Custodian, ensuring Information Protection and Information Security is applied in accordance with Qatargas standards, checking that Qatargas Confidential and/or Sensitive Distribution are managed appropriately in hardcopy and electronic formats
* Issues document transmittals, transmittal numbers and correspondence numbers in accordance with EPC project standards
* Receives, quality checks and processes technical documents from Contractor and captures these in Qatargas EDMS
* Distributes incoming documents electronically for review and approval in accordance with Document Distribution Matrix (DDM)
* Provides weekly reports on documents received for which replies are outstanding
* Advises Document Control on use of Qatargas EDMS and capture of letters / ROCs / MOM / transmittals / technical documents / drawings
* Maintains hardcopy and electronic libraries of documentation, with latest revision of hardcopy for frequently used documentation
* Coordinate Completeness and Correctness checks of Fabrication Record Books, System Completion Dossier and other DFO related dossiers as requested by IMC
* Prepares and transmits Final Documentation to Operating Company, in collaboration with and receiving guidance from IMC and HIM

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* 10 years' experience associated with Information and Document Management within the Oil & Gas Construction Industry
* Preferred: Bachelor's degree in engineering or Computer Science

Knowledge and Key Skills
* Knowledge and experience with Information Management computing and hardcopy systems, management processes and control procedures
* Knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems preferably Documentum
* Minimum of five (5) years related experience in Information Management and experience working within a Project organization
* Experienced in working with large EPC Contractors in the areas of Information Management, contract compliance and contract change management
* Experience in completing and delivering Final Completion Dossier (DFO) to Operations
Technical and Business Skills * A thorough knowledge of Documentation processes, codes and standards relating to final document handovers working within a structured Quality
