The Role:
Responsible for the oversight of the HSSE aspects of the Seismic Contractor field operations, reporting to the Lead Field Representative (LFR) and/or the Seismic Acquisition Project Manager. The Lead HSE Field Representative fulfils three functions on geophysical field operations:

* oversight of health, safety, security and environmental aspects of contractor field operations;
* subject matter expertise on the HSE sections of the contract;
* Intervention and escalation of contract non-conformance.

Reporting relationships:

The Lead HSE Field Representative reports to the Lead Field Representative and/or the Gas Seismic Acquisition Project Manager / HSE Manager. He/She may assume the role of Lead Field Representative as well. This reporting line is specifically to give the LHSEFR a measure of independence from the Line management of the project to facilitate intervention and escalation of any issues arising in the Gas Seismic operations. The LHSEFR works closely with the Gas Acquisition Project Manager, the Lead Acquisition Field Representative (LFR) and the wider project team to deliver the HSE Requirements. They may have subordinate HSE Field Representatives (HSEFR) reporting to them, including Positioning, HSE, Seismic QC and Processing Representatives.

Key activities, responsibilities and accountabilities:

1. Monitor and report Contractor compliance with the contract terms and HSSE Bridging Document
2. Monitor and report Contractor compliance with any prevailing regulatory Compliance Matrix and/or Environmental Commitments Register
3. Promote awareness, understanding and achievement of company goals and expectations
4. Promote an operating culture of open reporting and management feedback
5. Promote continuous improvement and sharing lessons learned.
6. Review and fully understand contract, the Oversight Plan and the contractor's Execution, Quality and HSE Plans.
7. Execute the project Oversight Plan in the field, including monitoring and reporting of crew performance, data quality, HSE and emerging issues, and provide reports to the Project Manager as directed.
8. Fully comply with company's "Seismic and Survey Field Representative - HSE Leadership Standard", including requesting performance feedback at the end of the project from Contractor Party Chief and Seismic Project Manager.
9. Deliver the HSE Requirements of the MoGO as defined in Annex A of the MoGO HSE Aspects Guide.
10. Execute the HSE aspects of the Project Oversight Plan.
11. Provide subject matter expertise to the team and the contractor on the interpretation and implementation of Section IV of the contract and the HSE content of the call-off.
12. Intervene, and where necessary escalate, where work is seen to be unsafe or where company or contractor behaviours are inappropriate.
13. Advise and inform Seismic Acquisition Project Manager on HSE issues, status and metrics.
14. Evaluate and monitor implementation of contractors HSE management systems.
15. Monitor, investigate, identify and resolve subproject HSE issues, evaluate HSE Metrics, and provide reports to company as required.
16. Ensure that company HSE requirements are followed during the survey
17. Generate daily, weekly, monthly reports and distribute them via emails to company and technical managers.

Members of Field Representatives Team shall do the following:

a) Read and understand the relevant parts of the applicable contract;
b) Follow the survey Contractor's HSE management system and local HSE and administrative arrangements for living and working on a crew;
c) Follow the Contractor's arrangements for emergency response as required, including attending drills, debriefings and training events;
d) Be fully conversant with the company's Golden Rules of Safety
e) Attend survey Contractor's daily toolbox meetings before work, and other meetings as appropriate;
f) Wear and/or use the PPE required by the survey Contractor for the work areas they enter;
g) Respect the right of any Contractor personnel to stop any Field Representative unsafe activities;
h) Take part in company and survey Contractor review, auditing and other assurance programmes as set out in their project-specific briefing;

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* 20+ years of HSE and 10+ years on Lead HSE supervision of onshore seismic acquisition crews
* Experience on managing and supervising large onshore seismic operations, High Productivity Source Acquisition (ISS, DS3 or similar) and multi-cultural teams is a must.

* Recent, relevant experience working directly for owner / operator.

* Relevant industry qualification
* Languages: English, French (preferably) or Arabic
