The Role:
Fircroft are seeking a QC Supervisor for a contract position within Africa

Rotation 4x4
Accommodation/flights/food - Provided
Day Rate: TBC

* Enforce site's HSE standards in the field
* Actively participate in HSE walk downs and record Safety Observations and Safety Conversations in the HSE Synergie data base
* Develop, implement and maintain an effective Quality Management System to provide assurance that Asset Integrity is built into the works/services provided by third parties.
* Provide assistance to contractors on developing, implementing and maintaining an effective Quality Management System.
* Ensure project Specifications and design requirements are adhered to from fabrication through to leak testing where applicable.
* Monitor contractors QC activities and ensure documentation is submitted in a timely manner for the close out of MoC's
* Review and approve all contractors QC reports including but not limited to, radiographic interpretation, NDT, PWHT, hydrotest, coating and bolt tensioning.
* Review completed work packs and test reports for the closure of MoC's
* Conduct Quality audits on Contractor processes and procedures
* Conduct internal quality audits on processes and procedures
* Advise contractors on the submittal of Site Technical Queries (STQ)
* Provide support to Engineering on the resolution of STQ's and OQ's (Operation Queries).
* Ensure that Contractors Weld Procedures are qualified & accepted in accordance with the relevant codes and Project Specifications
* Ensure that Contractors welder qualifications are maintained in accordance with the Code and project requirements.
* Ensure the material tracking system is maintained and updated accordingly.
* Conduct and liaise with all relevant departments in MC walkdowns
* Compile punchlists after MC walkdowns and follow through until close out.
* Ensure that all new MoC's are completed in accordance with project specifications and completed in accordance with the GoC specified principles prior to issuing the relevant Mechanical Completion certificate (MC1).
* Issue NCR's and provide assistance in their resolution.
* Ensure NCR's, STQ's, OQ's are tracked to a successful resolution and approved accordingly
* Ensure that registers are maintained and updated accordingly by the JV DCC department
Construction Manager

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
College, IRCA, CSWIP 3.2.2 or 3.2.1, PCN Level II Rad Interpretation, Coatings Inspection

15 years plus experience in the hydrocarbon industry
10 years plus in Quality Assurance Quality Control (QA/QC) role.
5 years plus supervisory experience of a multi discipline team preferably with time spent on International Projects
5 years plus remote working experience
5 years plus pipelines & wellhead experience
5 years plus experience in brownfield developments including TAR's
Leadership in HSE excellence
Strong communication skills
Strong team player
Expert Industry codes & standards
