The Company:
Reporting to the Project Director Designate and responsible for the Procurement of all materials, major sub contracts and services.

The Role:
Main Responsibilities:

* Preparation of RFQ's, evaluations of quotations and subsequent issue of purchase orders for materials, major sub-contracts and services in line with project and program requirements.
* Work closely with Project Managers and Project Teams to implement procurement strategies and ensure optimal deployment of resources
* Contribute to project plans and strategies in conjunction with sales and project management colleagues
* Support Bid and Tender activities
* Lead cost-down activities across all projects
* Analyse scope of supply and contract agreements
* Under take supplier risk analysis and assessment activities and audits
* Drive and contribute to wider business procurement strategies
* Ensure all major sub-contract items are procured in line with or improved terms and conditions compared to the main contract. This will be achieved by close liaison with the Project and Commercial management teams.
* Ensure purchase orders are acknowledged commensurate with MTE purchase orders.
* In conjunction with the SAP manager maintain an AVL that offers a minimum of three competitive RFQ scenario's for the Modular Solutions supply chain.
* Expedite all PO's to ensure delivery dates are maintained and liaison with the Project Managers as appropriate for any remedial action.
* Arrange transport/shipment of MTE contract deliverables including notification of abnormal loads and delivery/shipping documentation as advised by the integrated project teams.
* Prepare a monthly Buyers report for presentation at the contract reviews comparing actual PO values against budget including a statement of variances and reasoning

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Member of Institute of Procurement Managers with appropriate qualifications to degree standard
* At least 3 years' experience in Procurement Manager role.
* In depth experience with ISO 9001/14000/18001 QHSE systems
* Strong ethics and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
* Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, communication & leadership skills
* Experience in managing, mentoring and directing team members
