The Role:
Responsible for the planning, coordination & execution of all ROV and diving based subsea Inspection, Repair and Maintenance activities across UKBU subsea assets.
Defining the minimum requirements for managing diving operations in accordance with Group standards, Industry best practice and relevant legislation (particularly Commercial Diving Regs)

Key Accountabilities
1 Responsible for the co-ordination, project management and execution of all inspection, repair and maintenance activities involving ROV or Diving operations associated with UKBU subsea facilities, wells, structures, risers and pipelines.
2 Responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of subsea safety management systems, operations manuals. Provide input to Safety Case thorough reviews for Diving and ROV content.
3 Ownership of subsea work approval and planning process and ensuring in accordance with IAPS process and maintaining a 5year activity and budget plan of firm, anticipated and speculative vessel requirements.
4 Interface with the projects and decom team regarding subsea activities and opportunities to optimise vessel time.
5 Preparation of work programmes and budgets for ROV and Diving operations activities
6 Responsible for the sourcing and co-ordination of offshore diving representatives. Ensuring reps are sufficiently briefed on Premier asset, systems and processes as well as briefed on the project.
7 Focal point for HSE Diving inspectorate
8 Represent client on regional industry diving forums (North Sea Operators Diving Committee)
9 Provide input to and feedback on implementation Group Standards
10 Technical Owner for vessel based ROV and Diving Services contracts. Develop leading/lagging KPIs and initiatives within Diving and ROV contracts to drive performance improvements.
11 Promote and develop a safety and environmental awareness culture with ROV and Dive support contractors
12 Ensure post project review sessions and completed for all diving and ROV IRM campaigns with lessons learned captured and worked back into processes, systems and procedures to drive continuous improvement.
13 Liaison with nominated Diving and Marine Technical Authorities for all required Vessel, ROV and Diving assurance activities.

Direct reports:
The position has no direct reports but is expected to manage a range of contractors for any identified Diving or ROV project, including any offshore company representatives.

* Marine, Pipelines, Wells, Structural Technical Authorities
* Well Interventions and Integrity Engineers

External interaction expected with:
* Group function management and discipline heads in London
* Government bodies including Oil and Gas Authority, BEIS and the Health and Safety
* Executive. Industry subsea peers within other operating companies
* Contractor and specialist support organisations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications
* Tertiary Education at a technical level (e.g. HNC, HND, Degree or MSc)
* Qualified to travel offshore in UKCS.
* BOSIET / FOET and current Offshore Medical Certificate

Candidate Profile (include Skills & Experience, Attributes, Behaviours)
* Technical expert in broad range of subsea inspection repair and maintenance related disciplines with an ability to provide technical leadership.
* Diving and ROV operations experience and knowledge across Subsea inspection, repair and maintenance experience
* Ability to analyse problems, assess risk profile, determine action, and develop solutions, communicating intentions and progress to all levels.
* Significant experience in client/operator roles in the management of subsea contractors with active involvement in the application of Cost, Planning & Execution.
* Experience of presenting and communicating to stakeholders.
