The Role:
Focal point for all marine issues and technical support to the onshore and offshore Operated Assets team.
Accountable to the Maintenance Delivery Lead for delivering relevant business objectives safely and efficiently.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
1 First point of contact for all Marine issues and technical support to the onshore and offshore team. Taking ownership of issues/problems and ensuring timely and effective solutions are achieved.
2 Accountable for managing a range of support service contracts pertaining to Balmoral marine systems ensuring that effective support is provided.
3 Ensuring compliance with current regulations, codes and standards is established and maintained within the Marine discipline.
4 Responsible for ensuring that an effective condition and performance monitoring program is in place, is being monitored, trended and that appropriate on-condition remedial or improvement action is taken.
5 Responsible for co-ordinating all planned and corrective inspection, maintenance and repair programs for any Marine systems
6 Ensuring equipment reliability and availability and performance/compliance targets are achieved and that all losses associated with Marine systems are investigated.
7 Monitoring the maintenance and achievement of performance standards (within Marine area). Take appropriate action if standard is not achieved.
8 Following marine projects throughout their lifecycle and be Premier's Marine representative during each project phase from identify through to commissioning and review, providing assurance that the project delivers on its objectives in operation
9 Ensuring correct competency of offshore marine personnel is constantly maintained - Company standard and Class / Flag compliant.

Key Deliverables/Activities
1 Understanding and prioritising marine issues and working with team to provide solution.
2 Developing and planning campaigns for Marine equipment maintenance and overhaul
3 Maintaining equipment reliability, availability and performance data and provide input to the asset monthly report
4 Reviewing and ensuring continuous improvement of maintenance strategies and routines. Provide input / advice on materials control and routine spares holdings.
5 Active involvement in the implementation and continual improvement of the companies Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures. Follow up Incident Investigation and sharing of Incident lessons learned from a Marine Perspective.
6 Conducting periodic offshore visits and audit processes and procedures, within the Marine area, during these audits
7 Liaising with Planning and ensure any offshore visits are suitably planned and adhere to the required plan entry criteria.
8 Monitor status and provide onshore support for Marine Systems including Mooring, Hull Integrity, Stability, Marine Utilities, Lifeboats, Helideck, Navigational Aids and Cranes including LOLER

Financial Accountability and Dimensions

Management Relationships (include direct / indirect reports, external parties)
* Reports to Maintenance Delivery Lead, Operated Assets
* Indirect report to the Marine TA
* Engage with OAG onshore and offshore team, Facilities Engineering and Technical and non-Technical Engineers to deliver Marine systems.

* Required Marine operational experience
* Relevant operational and maintenance management/delivery experience
* Qualified to visit and work offshore

Candidate Profile (include Skills & Experience, Attributes, Behaviours)
* Experience with oil and gas operations (topsides and subsea)
* Familiar with project/developments/operations and typical oil company processes.
* Experience with Class and UK HSEx Verification scheme
* Awareness of brownfield modification process(s) in North Sea.
* Proactive approach to marine solutions, considering HSE and technical performance.
* An effective communicator (translate between on & offshore)
* Working knowledge of CMMS systems, Synergi, Maximo, Production Reporting systems, Regulatory HSE reporting requirements in UKCS
