The Role:
The primary function of the IM Coordinator is ownership and leadership of the quality of Information Management and Document Control products and services to project teams and compliance with Chevron's best practices. Leads the document controls team to maintain the integrity of documents transmitted between sites and the EP Contractor. Coordinates all aspects of development, delivery support, and IM solutions (e.g. SharePoint, IM retention policies, Chevron IAM) required by the OASIS Program for project phases 2 thru 4. As a member of the Integrated Project Team IM Coordinator is a key interface to the Business Unit IM teams. The position is required to interface with the leadership, team members and business unit counterparts to manage and deliver IM per project and BU objectives.

Key Job Responsibilities (essential position functions):
* Provides detailed IM specifications for MCP contracts and engages with Contractor to ensure IM deliverables
* Understand and apply Chevron's MCP IM standard in planning and execution
* Provide guidance to the Document Controls group to ensure that each applicable metadata field is accurately updated and maintained in each Master Deliverables Register
* Lead team in preparing and implementing squad checking documentation in accordance with procedure and distribution matrices.
* Report on accurate status reporting based upon the metadata designations and submitting at the determined frequency (per project basis).
* Ensure the document controls team is in alignment with the Document Control standards and ensuring any deviations due to project-specific needs are controlled and traceable.
* Lead and give direction to the team for the project close out process
* Assist in the development of Phase specific IM Plan, procedures, and processes for the MCP
* Actively demonstrates Chevron Way behaviors and promotes Incident and Injury Free culture (IIF)
* Lead the development and implementation of a document management systems on the MCP program
* Assist with document control duties as required

Required experience level:
* Demonstrated expertise with MCP Information Management coordination including familiarity with developing IM Plans, Project Execution Plan, Document Numbering Schemes, Distribution Matrix, defining IM processes and procedures following Chevron standards, and familiarity with IM tools and systems typically used to in support of Major Capital Projects (Electronic Document Management System, e-Room/SharePoint, workflow).
* Greater than 5 years' experience with MCP IM standards and processes
* Excellent communication and ability to prioritize, negotiate, and execute.
* Knowledge of Downstream business processes is beneficial
* Knowledge of SharePoint and e-Bentley or other electronic document management system
* Supervision experience preferred.

Critical Selection Criteria
MCP IM Knowledge and Experience - Demonstrated experience in IM planning and execution of Major Capital Projects Phase 3-4. Deep skills in Information Management, Document Control and Exchange, and Facility Engineering related data and systems on a Major Capital Project. Knowledge of key IM/DC processes, tools and technologies, including: Enterprise Content Management, Document Control, Engineering information management, and Chevron standard solutions associated with major capital projects. Demonstrated ability to define contract specifications and engage contractors for IM deliverables

Teamwork and people development - Demonstrated ability to work in a team structure with multi cultural employees, contract vendors and partners. Exercises tact and diplomacy. Demonstrated ability to mentor, develop and influence team members.

Communication Skills - Strong communication (verbal and written) and facilitation skills. Ability to explain detailed IM solutions and requirements in business terms to business leaders contractors, partners and SME's from a variety of disciplines. Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information and requirements to solve business requirements. Strong ability to prioritize, multi-task.

Project Delivery - Demonstrate excellence in execution through trusted partnership in the safe, on time, on budget, delivery of projects that perform as expected and transition seamlessly to operations. Demonstrated ability to deliver IM under tight schedule constraints with a diverse team of stakeholders and external partners.
