The Role:
Learning and Development Project Manager

High level job description/scope
This role will be responsible for accelerating EWD's efforts to scale and provide relevant and timely solutions that build the skills and capabilities for today and tomorrow for all employees at client organization. Develops and drives detailed project plans and budgets while partnering with key stakeholders, resulting in the creation of exceptional learning solutions. Projects are limited in scope to EWD programs and processes although some may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications. Serves as the central role on multiple project teams pulling together the correct L&D partners, functional and business SMEs and setting up project documentation and routines. Provides support of the successful analysis, design, delivery, financial management, communication and/or administration of learning project(s)/program(s). May work closely with external vendors.

Special Considerations
3+ years of Project Management experience (Change Adoption, Associate Readiness, Business Support, Transition)
Demonstrated experience leading L&D projects (large and small) with varying complexities (preferred). Experience with using Agile approaches and processes.
BS/BA degree or higher in Business Administration, Learning and Development, or Human Resources Management. Ten or more years of related experience; Learning and Talent Development experience is desired.

Selection Criteria
Resource Planning & Management: Formulate and implement a strategy on how project objectives can be met efficiently in the right sequence, by a group of people with unique skills within project constraints (time, budget, quality, etc.). Ability to accurately map out talent resources, tasks, and dependencies and make timeline estimates and set specific and general schedules as well as keep everyone up to speed. Fix project discrepancies, overlaps, stalled workflows, and other issues due to internal roadblocks or unforeseen external setbacks. Help address interpersonal conflicts among team members.
Influence: Ability to be able to get things done through people not directly reporting to the position. Demonstrate top-notch influencing and collaboration skills to gain agreement across regions and drive key projects that will result in effective, efficient, and high quality updates to employee development.
Technical Expertise: Plans, organizes, monitors and controls projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completion. Develop and socialize potential risk mitigation strategies. Effectively communicates with managers, peers and business partners on deliverables, timelines and support needed. Responsible for clarity and project updates and documents. Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
Communication & Partnership - Build and maintain strong partnerships with the Learning and Talent team, business managers, and members of the project team based on a shared commitment to achieving business results. Ability to work collaboratively across divisions, functions and levels. Liaise with clients and take time to understand their evolving goals. Use the right language, tone, and storytelling techniques when communicating, describing, or explaining issues over email, chat, reports, presentations, and other forms and channels of communication. Generate the right impact or response from specific audiences (team members, managers, customers, vendors, other stakeholders).
