The Role:
The Data Management Team provides application and data management support services to Canada Business Unit staff. The scope of responsibilities covers G&G , Business and Engineering as well as service functions.
- Works with Data Management Team and Information Stewards to design and implement data integrity and quality processes including:
- Prioritize data quality improvement opportunities.
- Establish detailed data definitions.
- Defines data quality rules and metrics.
- Implements rules in data quality tools.
- Develop, test and implement data load, extract, transform and synchronization utilities.
- Performs data quality assessments for specific data types.
- Identifies data quality gaps and coordinate cleanup activities.
- Implements evergreen data quality programs including quality monitoring processes and metrics reporting.
- Participate in data management project teams.
- Develops documents and trains others on data quality processes and systems.
- Follow defined work processes. Identifies opportunities and takes action to improve work processes.
- Follows change management processes and proactively communicates proposed changes with supervisor, customers and related support groups.
- Assists with loading and preparation of data into various systems

The Company:
Our client, a major owner/operating company, requires expertise for their LNG mega-project in Western Canada.This position is open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents only.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Well developed computer skills are required with proficiency in Microsoft office suite. Strong communication and problem solving skills with the ability to quickly understand the Company's corporate culture/environment. Knowledgeable in using Documentum, Petrel and Data Warehouses.
- A degree in Engineering or other technical degrees.
- 2-4 years of experience in Data Analysis.
- Knowledgeable in using Documentum, Petrel and Data Warehouses.
- Familiarity with Subsurface, Well, and Seismic data.
- Familiarity with Excel and Macros.
- Strong communication and problem solving skills with the ability to quickly understand the company's corporate culture/environment.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Familiarity with SQL & Oracle database structures and queries, preferred
