The Role:
- Developing a Resource Loaded Project Schedule in Primavera P6 for all contract works including,
engineering, procurement, fabrication, suppliers, subcontractors, on-shore commissioning, installation,
offshore hook-up and commissioning.
- Ensuring the project schedule is efficient, comprehensive and will achieve a delivery on time in
accordance with the contract requirements.
- Alignment of the working schedule with the cost model in terms of scheduling, man-hours, costs, value
and performance.
- Work closely with project team to ensure scope in all disciplines are consistent with scheduled
activities and deliverables
- Manage progress reporting from engineering, procurement, fabrication, suppliers and subcontractors
and carry out updating of planned activities on the allocated project
- Prepare reports including updated schedule report, progress against project deliverables and the
development of progress curves
- Attend project meetings
- Provide Project Management Team with timely communication on issues and/or potential delays.
- Provide data and information for technical, weekly, monthly reports and presentations;
- Provide What-ifs scenario analyses and reporting;
- Provide baseline analysis and acceptance of Critical Path Schedule including reforecasting of
baseline;
- Provide continued analysis of critical activities and longest path activities;
- Work closely with Project Commercial team to develop and maintain consistency between cost and
schedule reporting systems.
- Work closely with Commercial Manager on schedule impact of Change Orders and analysis of delay
claims or time extensions;
- Provide analysis of schedule delay claims and evaluation of recovery and accelerated schedule;
- Provide evaluation, verification and approval of monthly Progress and Milestone Payment Items to
ensure invoice accuracy;
- Maintain positive relationship with clients, project team members, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Ensure all planning, forecasting and reporting is in accordance with company's standard work
- Breakdown Structure/Cost Model

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 - 10 years of energy industry related experience in Project Scheduling, Planning and Analysis.
- Strong background and knowledge of management and construction of large industrial projects
- Experience in evaluation and analysis of Earn Value Management metrics.
- Extensive knowledge of Project Scheduling Standards & Best Practices.
- Extensive knowledge of Project Controls Systems for integration of cost and schedule;
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of construction techniques and best practices
- Expert in the set up and use of Primavera P6
