The Role:
* To conduct work in the workshop location and field (either onshore or offshore)e, to strip and identify components and report all findings to the relevant line management, any damage that has been noticed during the dismantling of pumps.
* Inspection of pumps during the repair cycle in line with client processes - identifying failure modes
* Carry out the assembly and commissioning of repaired of pumps to the required standard and specification set in place by relevant supporting documents
* Testing of pumps to appropriate API/ASME/BSO standard or to the client's specific test procedures.
* Verification/Inspection of pump repairs and Final Inspection as and when required
* Authorization and sign off of inspection and test reports
* Field service activities associated with on site repair and associated equipment.
* Able to correctly and competently complete engineers visit reports and repair documentation
* Ensuring that the appropriate hold points/inspection points are adhered to, as 3rd party signatories/verification.
* Maintain a good level of housekeeping within the working environment you are currently in.
* Carry out responsibilities with regards to the companies and its client's statutory requirements for health, safety and environmental
* To respond to customer ' on call requirements if applicable' for the above site activities
* Carry out the onsite disassembly/assembly and testing of all types of valves, actuators and associated instrumentation in accordance with the companies/customers QA/QC and Health and Safety procedures
* Implement Rotating Equipment Maintenance and Reliability Strategies
* Regular liaison with client coordinators in discussing technical problems, resource requirements and technical assistance where required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in the repair, maintenance, overhaul and commissioning of rotating equipment and in particular low and high energy centrifugal pumps in workshop environments and filed service
* Strong knowledge of pumping systems and various types of pumps
* Familiarity with hydraulics and experience of carrying out system investigation and vibration analysis
* Sound knowledge of relevant engineering standards and procedures
* Be able to take lead role with excellent communication skills
* PC proficiency (MS Office projects including Project)
