The Role:
To fulfil this role the right candidate will be responsible for the management of the Australian Business Unit Performance Standards. This role will be key in the coordination of Performance Standard updates,
developing and managing a Performance Standard verification scheme and monitoring of Safety Critical Equipment health. The role will be critical in the development of tools to assist in the visualisation of cumulative risk for the business unit.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

-Renew the project's performance standards based on company go-bys and industry good practice
-Establish a Performance Standard verification scheme
-Monitor compliance of the business unit with performance standards verification scheme.
-Liaise with Technical Authorities to determine a solution to the deviation when non-compliance with Performance Standards is identified, 
-Provide on going guidance on the application of the Temporary Operating Deviation process with regard to Performance Standard deviations
-Carry out 'road show' to ABU-W sites to increase awareness on Performance Standards
-Establish metrics and tools to provide 'real time' visualisation of Safety Critical Equipment health
-Develop methods to illustrate 'cumulative risk' based on the performance of systems such as Performance Standards, Temporary Operating Deviations, Management of Change, Risk Register etc.
-Work closely with the Quality Assurance Team to provide assurance of internal technical processes as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
-Bachelor of Engineering with extensive oil and gas industry experience
-QA in brownfield/greenfield projects.
-Experience with risk management processes such as deviation management and management of change
-Understanding with Process Safety concepts and experience with QA processes
-Understanding of industry standard project business support systems including Operations Excellence, Project Management Systems, planning, cost control and quality
-Strong communication (written, oral & formal presentation/PowerPoint) skills
-Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build and maintain positive relations with Operations and support team members and internal business partners
-Understanding and experience with Performance Standards Operations experience.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
-Chartered engineer registration
