The Role:
The Contracts Technical Support is responsible for the administration of contracts and purchasing activities for engineering and maintenance contracts, including entry of requisitions, ensuring quality and standardisation of the requisitions process, and tracking progress with requisitions and PO's according to schedules and plans. This position serves as the interface between supply chain and Integrated Operations Support (IOS) group to ensure deadlines and priorities are met on commercial issues.

* Track cost commitments and progress claims in the cost control system working with the Cost Controller and Finance Coordinator.
* Manage timesheets and maintain accurate tracking of labour time and costs for onshore and offshore, including mobilisations and emergent work.
* Maintain a high level of customer support to all facilities, and its personnel on matters to do with the supply chain
* Provide invoice review and compliance control for engineering and maintenance contracts against Schedule of Rates and Outline Agreements
* Identify & resolve invoice and purchase order claims and variations
* Liaise with engineering cost controller for the engineering service contracts and materials, track from material requisition (MR) to receipt of goods & services
* Interface between Supply Chain to ensure deadline and priorities are met
* Ensure adequate Contract & Procurement documentation, quotation, and authorisation from budget owner is in place before requisitions are raised
* Maintaining the SharePoint register, workflows, permitting users and on-boarding training as required
* Implementing new SharePoint practices to the IOS team as required
* Reporting from SharePoint modules to send out data and graphs to manipulate, carry over data from previous weeks to analyse and improve process and improve reporting as required
* Maintain and continually improve procedures, work instructions and processes to ensure full lifecycle management of information
* Reporting analysis and quality assurance of records, reports & IT systems
* Liaise with IOS team and vendors to understand information management requirements

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience
* Experience oil and gas or mining with contracts and procurement preparations (invoicing, commercial) exposure is essential
* Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
* Excellent PC skills - Excel, Word, SharePoint
* Experience in SAP or similar ERP MM / MR function

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Operate in a professional manner autonomously, and as part of a team
* Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
* Experience of complex approvals and compliance regime
