The Role:
A new position has become vacant for an Engineering Data Warehouse (EDW) Implementation Coordinator on a 24 month contract. The role will be a Subject Matter Expert in relation to the management of 3D models and engineering data warehouses and their interfaces within the ERP Suite and other technologies. The purpose of the role is to establish and implement the system, tools, governance, framework, engineering contractor instructions and processes required by the business unit for a new EDW being established for the Project.

The EDW & 3D Model Implementation Coordinator is the focal point for implementation of the Engineering Data Warehouse (EDW) and integrated 3D Model, working in cooperation with the Engineering, Information Management and Engineering Contractor teams. This includes development of the associated engineering change management and data management processes.

Key responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

* Develop and implement a detailed Strategy for the maintenance and use of a 3D Model and visualisation tool, the strategy must include:
* Implement Data Capture and Cleanse activities to support the business needs.
* Implement Business Process change initiatives through the implementation to ensure the Tools are kept relevant and up to date as the business matures in using the data.
* Implement Change Management Practices to ensure all business departments clearly understand the value of the tool and their role in ensuring the tools are maintained.
* Development and Presentation of complex information to stakeholders.
* Processing of Master data to ensure system compliance and standards are maintained.
* Auditing and correcting any incomplete or unclear engineering data and support requirements.
* Creation and change of Master data within the EDW.
* Undertake special projects as required.
* Create well-structured documents, spreadsheets, presentations, proposals and other documents.
* Identify and participate in continuous improvement activities.
* Update and facilitate improvement in KPI's and reports.
* Periodic Reporting against KPIs consistent with corporate requirements.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

* Advanced & extensive experience in delivering EDW and 3D/ geospatial tools within a Process Organisation.
* Sound understanding of Asset management and the value asset data plays in enabling effective asset management practices.
* Experience in the use and administration of an EDW and the associated tools and technology.
* Qualification to a Trade/Diploma level.
* Experience ERP Solution integrations with EDW & 3D Models.
* Work experience in large scale industrial complex, e.g. Oil & Gas, Mining, or Minerals Processing.
* Strong PC skills including the use of databases, MS Word, Excel, and Project and mass data manipulation.
* Must be very flexible to a changing work environment, including schedule changes, work prioritising, employee work assignments, etc.
