The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Emergency Response Coordinator to join a leading oil and gas operator, working on a new greenfield development project. In the role Emergency Response Coordinator you will provide support to the subsea, pipelines and FPSO facilities throughout all phases of the companies latest project. This position is responsible for providing support across the following areas; New Project HSE Management Plan, ER planning and assurance, planning and conducting drills and exercises and input into design and regulatory documentation

Core accountabilities & responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
Accountabilities
* Develop and update (as required) the suite of Emergency Response plans for various locations and activities associated with the Project.
* Provide input into the ER design for the FPSO facility, including review and critique of contractor design specifications and vendor selection.
* Lead the planning and review of Contractors ER documentation.
* Support execution of the Project HSE Team activities as required, e.g. Audits, HAZIDs, ENVID's etc.
* Verify that the Project is aligned with the Australian Business Units Crisis Management and ER philosophies and requirements.
* Assure that Project oil spill and response capabilities are in place and maintained.
Responsibilities
* Co-ordinate execution of emergency response drills and exercises at Project locations where activities are being conducted.
* Identify suitable Emergency Response Equipment for the FPSO to meet company Emergency response standards and processes.
* Provide Emergency response training support to site ERTs where applicable.
* Participate in the investigation of emergency related incidents and support the development of corrective actions.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Science or relevant related work experience.
* Minimum 7 years' experience in major offshore oil/gas projects in a Crisis Management or Emergency Response role.
* Prior experience with the Incident Command System (ICS) or AIIMS equivalent.
* Strong technical skills in ER processes and equipment.
* Ability and proven previous training in ER processes is essential.
* Ability to train Project Incident Management Teams in Emergency Management processes.
* Able to plan, organize and conduct multiple projects and functions in a dynamic work environment.
* Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
* A high degree of cultural awareness and understanding for international locations.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain and develop positive relations with internal stakeholders, including those in different geographical locations.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present complex E

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Qualifications in Emergency Management (Minimum Level Cert IV in Public Safety - Emergency Management).
* HSE or ER Auditing qualification
